Business: Coleman Motors New Boston TX. Sale Manager: integrity None, unethical business practices. On 26 Oct 22 My wife and I are looking for another SUV, My wife purchased a vehicle from Coleman about year ago or so: She had Coleman the finance and put extended warranty on the vehicle. She was happy. My wife decided to go to Coleman again to see what type of SUVs they have, She found a Subaru and said it was really nice and I should look at it. I took time off from work and called my bank for a loan approval for what they was asking, I also ask the sales person if they could go down on the price. The bank ok'd the price and I drove to Coleman dealer in New Boston TX, with my son, we met the sales person and drove the vehicle in question around the block, I returned and I said I would buy the vehicle. I told the sales person I already have an approval from my bank for the amount that was quoted to me on the phone. Then the sale person went out of his office to get the sales manager. The sales manager came in and ask why I don't use the lenders he uses. I said I like my bank, and I can manage my account on line, and they give the best deals, and I have been with them over 20 years. He ask what was the interest rate, I ask what would he give, I said he didn't know have to run a credit check I said no, I do not want another hit on my credit report, I also added if he would drop the price I would go with his lenders. I went outside to call my bank and to give them the VIN number, and while I was on hold, the sales manager came out and told me, that he had another custumer wanting to buy that vehicle from ******* lenders, he also added he needed to make money too, I told him do not come out and threaten me, I **** leave now. I came back in after talking with the bank and the with interest quote, the sale manager came over and ask about using his lender again, I said no, I have my interest quote from my bank. He said let him see if he could beat it. I told him no.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/11/01) */ YES . MR ****** CAME TO OUT STORE TO PURCHASE SAID SUBARU SUV. UNFORTUNATELY FOR MR ****** WE TRIED TO CONVEY TO HIM THAT WE HAD 2 PEOPLE AT THE SAME TIME TRYING TO BUY THE SUBARU. THE OTHER CUSTOMER PURCHASED THE SUBARU THE SAME DAY AND UNFORTUNATLEY MR ****** WAS UNHAPPY. WE TRIED TO EXPLAIN THAT TO MR ****** BUT HE WOULD NOT LISTEN AND THOUGHT WE WERE TRYING TO BULLY HIM. WE WERE NOT AND SUV SUBARU LEFT THE SAME DAY. WE TRIED TO APOLOGIZE BUT TO NO AVAIL. WE ARE MORE THAN HAPPY TO TRY AND MAKE THINGS RIGHT BUT WE DONT HAVE ANOTHER SUBARU. WE HAVE OTHER CARS AND WOULD BE HAPPY TO ASISST MR ****** AND APOLOGIZE AGAIN.
