****** electric was called because the breaker to the washing machine kept tripping. They replaced a faulty breaker for washing machine. We had the same issue with another breaker later on but we were now with American home shield and they sent an electrician with their company. To out home. At this time I was informed the breaker replaced by Zellner was a non GFCI breaker which now my home has an electrical violation code. . I contacted Zellner and was told they will come back and install the correct breaker at a discount price and I only need to pay them 135 dollars for the breaker . Basically, I have to pay them to fix a problem they created . I already paid for the work and now to fix it I have to pay again and pay for the correct breaker. He stated they initially did not charge me for the breaker they installed which I dispute that comment because we paid 250 dollars and at no time did they say oh the breaker is free. The second electrician from a different company even wrote it up as code violation. Zellner wants to argue its been years since they did the work. I am not an electrician and if it were not for the 2nd breaker installed in 4/19/2024 by another electrician we would have never known. But to charge us 135 dollars to correct this is unfair, unethical and I will never use or recommend Zellner electric again. The job should have been done right the first time and we should not be charged at all for the correction. The amount of time that has lapsed is irrelevant. Bottom line is our home is out of electric compliance thanks to Zellner electric. The breaker for the washing machine should have been replaced with the same type of breaker the builder installed which is a GFCI breaker..
