Additional Information for Hemp 360

On June 24, 2022, BBB contacted Hemp 360 regarding advertised health claims, certifications, and testimonials on its website https://help360.com.

Hemp 360 advertises health benefit claims including but not limited to:

CBG benefits include "Pain Relief, Anti-inflammatory, Neuroprotectant, Anti-Bacterial" 

“Rosemary may help support memory and cognitive function. In addition, it may help support the joints, circulatory function, hair, and skin.”

“Turmeric being a great natural anti-inflammatory, blends perfectly with CBG creating intense muscle relaxation and pain relief.”

“Hemp Oil and Rosemary Extract together help control your body’s inflammation levels, and both supplements help fight inflammation… Rosemary Extract fights inflammation by lowering the level of pro-inflammatory compounds in your system, and its antioxidant function fights cell damage that would otherwise induce inflammation.” “Rosemary may help support memory and cognitive function.” (Entourage Effect) “Together, these compounds work harmoniously to magnify their therapeutic properties.”

BBB Code of Advertising states claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy, or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data.

BBB requested Hemp 360 to provide evidence from recent, reliable, and competent studies or other objective data about their specific products including any scientific findings, FDA approvals, peer-reviewed clinical studies, trials, or other objective data to substantiate the claims their products are safe for human use and the advertised health claims or discontinue the advertised claims to address BBB’s concern.

Hemp 360 also advertises its products are “USDA Organic”, “Fair for life fair trade”, ”Rainforest Alliance Certified” and “RSPO Certified Sustainable Palm Oil.”

BBB Code of Advertising states the primary responsibility for truthful and non-deceptive advertising rests with the advertiser. Advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any objective claims or offers made before publication or broadcast. Upon request, they should present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or BBB.

BBB requested Hemp 360 to provide evidence that they are certified with the organizations or discontinue the advertised claims to address BBB’s concern.

Hemp 360 also advertises customer reviews from customers expressing that CBD products have benefited their overall health. These testimonials include claims specific to the effects of CBD including: “I’ve had eczema for years and am currently going through topical steroid withdrawal. BBB Code of Advertising states in general, advertising which uses testimonials or endorsements is likely to mislead or confuse if it is not genuine and does not actually represent the current opinion of the endorser. If a consumer’s experience represented in an advertisement is not the typical experience of those using the product or service unless the advertisement clearly and conspicuously discloses what the expected results will be.

BBB requested Hemp 360 to disclose and substantiate with scientific evidence the typical result from customers’ testimonials and substantiate the testimonials advertised or discontinue the advertised claims to address BBB’s concern.

As of September 7, 2022, Hemp 360 failed to respond to BBB's requests to modify, discontinue or substantiate their advertisements.
