We purchased our home in Dec. 22. We did a walk through with builder 2 weeks prior ( blue tape) for deficiencies. Some were repaired ( poorly ) prior to our moving in. Many were not. After moving in we continued to find deficiencies. Repair men have been by twice to make repairs but never licensed. When I asked are you an electrician Id get a laugh and told @ I do it all never shown a license. We are getting a handy man, not a professional which is needed for the job. We have been waiting weeks for repairs to a cabinet which we are holding together with a bar so it doesnt fall part. Nails are being found all throughout the home under the linoleum. My child has sustained an injury due to this and I had to remove it myself. Spark homes does not care to provide customers with the help they need. This is a brand new home and the water heater has not been working for nearly a week and they have not responded to my emails. I am a permanent and total disabled veteran. I served my country for over 22 years. The service I am receiving from spark homes is an embarrassment and no new homeowner should go through what I am going through. My neighbors are also experiencing the same issues with spark homes. We are unable to make repairs because these homes are new and supposed to be under warranty. Our hands are tied snd we are at the mercy of a builder who only cares about taking our money and leaving us with subpar homesBusiness response

The only two outstanding repair requests that I am aware of are as follows:
1. The cabinet door that needs to be repaired - pending a work authorization from Champion Homes (the home manufacturer). This has been submitted and we expect an authorization to fix it this week so a contractor can be dispatched.
2. The hot water heater is an appliance that is warranted through the appliance manufacturer. We have a text message communication with the customer trying to resolve her concern. The appliance warranty needed to be registered with the Appliance manufacturer for them to make the repair so they could establish an in-service date. We have offered to provide documentation on when she bought the home so the appliance manufacturer can send a tech to repair the water heater.
Her electrical concern stemmed from a swapped ground contact on the back of a GFCI plug, not a systemic electrical issue. To my knowledge, the plug on the kitchen island is functioning properly at this time.
