Our car was taken to *** 11/10/2023 due to several codes one being ECU. They replaced new ECM/PCM which is all elec parts. When we got car back (12/7/23 the fob won't unlock or lock doors. They say they did nothing in engine to cause that must be battery. The work was electrical. They were adamant the fob battery so I spent $12.00 on a battery I knew wasn't the issue. They want $165.00 to reprogram the fob they messed up, NO I won't. I spoke with *********************** several times she SD her Mgr again SD they didn't do it but would split the cost $85. No, this isn't anything we did. It worked when car dropped off, they did electric work and now fob isn't working with new battery. They also said we would have to leave car there, for how long? Don't know! we have one car only. We need an appointment or loaner car and for them to fix (reprogram) the fob please that's all we want. I am trying to set up an appointment for a recall notice. I cannot get any response to my phone calls. i have left numerous messages. I have yet to receive an answer. I had the same problem when I tried to get a oil change. I finally had to go to dealer in person. This needs to be resolved.Business response

In January 12, 2023, I bought a used car with New World *** and Mazda ** New Braunfels, *****. I test drive the car and found out theres a signal light problem in rear driver side. The rear blinker is off. I told them the problem, and ************************* ( Sales Associate ) told me that its an easy fix. But its already pass 6pm and theres no mechanic left for the day. **** asked me to bring the car back the following day or at my convenience. I really love the car and the price was very good, so I agreed. I came back the following week and they fixed it. Two weeks after the same problem came back again. I called **** and he said to bring back the car again to get fix. They keep the car for 3 days and called me its okay. In March it happened again. I called **** and told him the same problem with my car. I specifically asked him if I can bring the car to *** in *********** since they know more about their vehicles mechanism or electrical problems. But **** told me to bring the car back to them and they will look into its electrical problem. They kept the car for a couple of days and called me that the car is ready and they fixed the problem. Theyre saying about loose contact and they got it this time and problem solved. And now for the fourth time, same problem again. Rear driver side blinker is off again. Last week, I texted ****, called him and left a message saying the signal light is off again. But until now he never responded to my text and call. I love the car, but if Im having the same problem since the day I bought it, sooner or later I will get a traffic violation or worst get into an accident. I am writing this letter to get help with my problem. I think my cars electrical problem is unfixable. They can buy back the car or replace it with similar car. Please help. We spoke to ***************** today (5/3/2023) and have scheduled an appointment at a *** dealership to repair this electrical issue, unfortunately we were unable determine the root cause of his blinker failure. We told ***************** that we would be responsible for the repair.Customer response

Car was towed here due to mechanical failure caused by An engine that was silently recalled From **** I was told it would take 1 to 3 weeks it's 3 weeks for just a diagnostic to see what was wrong with the vehicle. They did not Contact me until 3 weeks and 3 days after the car had been towed to their property. Once they told me the diagnostic was that the engine needed to be replaced and apart need to be ordered I was not given any sort of time frame in which that would be taken care of. I have called several times asking if I could get a loner vehicle of some sort or some sort of hastiness in the matter because of this I have lost my job and I am not able to go look for a job because I am out of a vehicle and have been out of a vehicle for about a month now. They are doing nothing to help me and I should not have been sold the car in the 1st place due to the engine recall. I'm contacting the ** in hopes ofPutting some pressure on them to get some hastiness into the matter. It is ridiculous to be without a car for that long and it not even be worked on if anything they should send it to a different dealership that is availableTo help its customers
