I contacted PlumbSmart (PS) for a quote on installing a water softener & plumbing loop. I spoke with ****, who kept pressing to have someone come out to our home to give us an estimate. My time is valuable, so I asked for a ballpark estimate before agreeing to allow someone to come to our home. I was told PS water softeners range from $3K - $10K, a carbon filter, which most other companies include with the water softener, would be an additional $2K & installing the plumbing loop would be another $800-$1500. All in all, a minimum of $5,800. That was on the high end compared to other local companies, but I agreed to have them come out to see what the final number would be. Then, **** threw in that they charge a $79 "service fee" to send a tech out the house, even though on Yelp they advertise "free estimates," BUT if we decided to go with them, they would wave the fee. That seemed like a bait and switch & I should have backed out then. While I did initially schedule the estimate, after sleeping on it & discussing it with my partner, we decided a company who used these high pressure sales tactics was not a company we felt comfortable doing business with.Based on this experience, I gave PS a 3-star review on ************** because this experience is something I would want to know as a potential customer. That rating is what they earned, based on my experience with them up until that point. However, after leaving this fair & honest 3-star review, **** and **** harassed me to the point that I had to block both of their phone numbers to make it stop. They called me & texted me *over a dozen times* in the span of one hour, regarding the original review. This is beyond unprofessional & toes the line of legal harassment. **** has publicly defended his actions in his public reply on Yelp. He also claimed I had no "proof," so I uploaded that to Yelp. Had **** or **** chosen to respond professionally to my 3-star review, they would have never earned a 1-star review. BEWARE!!!

I asked for a quote to add a new clean out in my kitchen and to fix the slow kitchen drain. I spoke to 4 total plumbers. When ********************* and another tech came to look at my home, they got on the roof to run the camera down the line. He said my entire sewer line had collapsed and needed to be replaced. They only showed me 1 photo of the pipes. The manager put dots on the patio and yard to indicate where the sewer line ran. He said with a senior discount, it would only cost me $24,500. He said I could get financing through a third-party vendor that they recommend. I did not get accepted the first time but did the second time. I repeatedly asked for a written estimate but was not given one. I received numerous phone calls from **** pressuring me to sign up to borrow that money. I told him I could not afford it. I had to block their phone numbers, but he reached me on a restricted line when I again said I could not afford to do that extensive project. Another plumber said what they quoted me verbally was at least 3 times more expensive than it should have been. Since all of my plumbing still works, I ended up using another plumber who gave me a written quote which included their license number. The other company took care of my repair in the Kitchen and now it is draining correctly once more. PlumbSmart was so unprofessional, and I felt that they were trying to take advantage of me. I would not ever recommend using PlumbSmart ***********.

I had a major issue on a Friday night at about 9 o'clock that came to light on Saturday morning around 7 AM with my water supply to my home being completely dead. After calling around to more than a dozen companies **** from PlumbSmart. **** was incredibly polite, knowledgeable, and ready and willing to help me with my small water emergency. Even though the trouble it turned out to be was not his area of expertise he was resourceful enough to team me up with providers who could professionally solve my issue; he even followed up with me over the next 2 day to make sure I was completely taken care of. I recommend **** and PlumbSmart for any plumbing home systems issue you may have. Five stars all day every day

I put in an RFQ on yelp for my drain that was stopped up. PlumbSmart was the first to respond. **** called me within 15 minutes of my posting. He was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He found one of his crew members that were in my area and ****** was at my house within the hour. ****** was also very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, and took the time to show me where the problem was. I would not hesitate to use them again and would highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs! Thanks again **** and ****** for a great experience!!!
