I responded to an advertisement for vacations thru RCI AND have my name taker off of a timeshare at ********************** in ************, **. My main interest getting rid of the time share. A salesperson - *********************************** representing DreamStrar Resorts gave the presentation. She did not mention that any other companies would be part of this transaction. I later found out out that International Escapes, ****************************************************************** was involved with the transfer of the timeshare title. I filled out applications (copy attached) and thought everything was good. In November 2021 I received a **** from *********** for 2022 maintenance fees. I contacted DreamStar Resorts on 12-9-2021 - they told me thewy did not handle the transfer of timeshares and forwarded my email to International Escapes - *************************. **** called me on 12-9-2021 and told me she would look into the matter and call me back that same day. Didn't happen! I called her on 12-13-2021 and on 12-22-2021. Did not answer or return the calls. I filed a BBB complaint against DreamStar Resorts on 2-1-2022 (copy attached). I received a response from them o n 2-2-2022 and also received a call from *************************. She told me she was sorry and she was working on a resolution for transferring the timeshare. She stated she would get back with me on 2-3-2022, which she did. She told me the paperwork was not submitted and that another company would be handling the transfer of the timeshare. She told me that and ADDITIONAL fee of $500.00 might be added. I told her that is not satisfactory. She said she would try to ask for a waiver. I am not satisfied with transaction - paperwork not submitted, a third company entering the deal, an extra fee of $500.00. There has been gross negligence, incompetence and the public should be made aware of this.
