First communication with full description of the problem (Scenario)Subject: **** ********* Way ( Corner of ********* and *******)Dear friends at Hunts Communications, It has been about a month, maybe more, that your crew dug a trench along our properties. My home happens to be on a corner lot where two sloped streets meet. The meeting point of those two trenches ( ********* and *******) became a two feet deep hole. See Pictures #0 and #1 The left-over dirt was placed on top of my tree roots (Pic#3 and #4) The hole was never refiled, as a consequence the water runs over the sidewalk creating a slippery situation where algae is starting to grow due to constant flow of water. Please consider this message as my request to take care of this situation by the end of March 17. Sincerely, Follow up Communication including all parties, after Hunts Communication did not finish to complete the job. Dear friends at the ** BBB, This issue has not been resolved. My conversation with the chief of the company did not go well because they are refusing to request a city permit to fix the problem that they created. Hunts communications dug two deep trenches along both edges of my property. Their goal was to provide a better cable/internet service in the area. I am not a customer. We did not authorize this work. My wife was told by the crews that they can do all they need within two feet of my property. Maybe the *** authorized this?Hunts Communications came back and filled up the hole at meeting point of both trenches but that did not fix the issue. The water still overflows. When I called again to report that nothing was fixed. The person responsible refused to keep working on it and refused to request a city permit to place a exhausting pipe under the sidewalk to drain into the street. The sidewalk is extremely slippery days after any rains or when backyards are being watered. The curb is losing concrete. Please advise.
