I went In to see him October of 2020. He stated it would be about a month to get a crown in for my tooth. A month passed didnt stress about it being the holidays. I called in December and they told me probably around February because they were backed up from covid. Fine ok. Feb came and they scheduled me, and the day of they called and said they weren't showing I paid for anything. Which I did and showed proof. They scheduled me again. 2 weeks later. Canceled. I was cancelled about twice a month for over a year for different reasons. I had to go to another dentist because he had health problems. I've been trying for months now to get a refund and he keeps blowing me off. Hes done no work, and now he has closed down his store and moved out. I just want a refund on my work I paid for 2 years ago. I've attached a few of my emails from him.

Services were preformed to even outside of our normal office hours and parameters. We tried to refer patient to a specialist to be able to continue treatment but that was refused.

I'm responding to my case...1st I cant log in to my messages. I'm not sure why. But as to what the dentists reply was...I was never worked on after hours, I tried multiple times to schedule after hours and on Saturdays but they were rescheduled.  As for a specialist I'm not sure why I would need one.  It was a simple crown procedure that was put off for 2 plus years now. Looking at his reviews there are lots of similar accusations against him.  I just want to get a refund on the work he didnt do.

I went to Dr. Huffstutler over two years ago for cleaning and to be fit for a partial denture for my bottom teeth. Dr. Huffstutler completed the service and I paid for the partial, approximately $1500.00. COVID hit, so understandably, the fitting of the partial was delayed. However, when restrictions were lifted around May 2020, an appointment was made for the fitting. Ever since then, multiple appointments have been made and cancelled by Dr. Huffstutler. My last scheduled appointment was July 14, 2021 and I was contacted to cancel the appointment again. I have taken off work multiple times and left early to attend appointments, only for them be be cancelled about an hour before the appointment. His office staff will not return calls or answer their phones during posted business hours. I have multiple emails from both Dr. Huffstutler and his staff giving reasons for why I cannot be seen. I have been told that he has my partial, but it still needs work before it can be fitted; however, I am unable to make an appointment with him. At this point, I want the $1500 back that I paid in full almost two years ago, or an appointment to be fitted for the partial ASAP.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

I am sympathetic to the health issues that you mentioned and am sorry you have experienced so much; however, there is no definitive date for when you can get me in for an appointment and I have been waiting for this partial for almost two years. You did not reach out with any of this information until I filed a complaint, so I do not have much confidence that you will reach out again once these health issues subside. Please provide a full refund in the amount of $1500.00 so I may get the dental care I need elsewhere.

      Regards,
