UFC announced they had been bought by crunch fitness, and took my personal training out the same day. I had 2 trainings left on my previous and they told me they would refund me back to the card on file, because they were closing at the end of the month. All I had to do was email the email and I would be refunded in 4-8 weeks. This was back in June. I havent heard anything from them. I contacted ****** to get further information, however they dont have the information on file. I contacted my bank where the charge was, and they werent able to refund the amount because of the amount of time that had passed due to me giving UFC enough time. I just want my money refunded for the 4 sessions I did not use

Transaction of $128.82 was taken out on 1/31/2023 of my account when the business had told me verbally it would not. The reason it wasnt supposed to come out is because I had frozen my membership and only $15 was supposed to come out. I had confirmed the freeze with suffient time before the monthly dues were due in order to avoid chargers being taken out. This has happened two separate instances in the past. The assistant operations manager had stood there assuring me that my account would not be charged the full membership dues and only $15 would be taken account. I have called for a refund, but they told me it would take anywhere from 30 to 40 days becasue they claim they need to keep reminding corporate to process the return. That doesnt sound like good business practice. So its my responsibility to keep calling to remind them to process my refund on their mistake? 30 to 40 days for a refund? I think their business practices need to be reviewed again as well as how they make false promises to consumers. I am requesting a refund gets processed quicker and for them look into past instances where they owe me a refund and refund that money as well. If you dont constantly remind them, youll never get your money back. Crooked, corrupt corporate department

A freeze was not processed on the members account. This refund has already been submitted to corporate for processing for the total amount owed the the member. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused.

I cancelled my membership with this gym and was told I would no longer be billed. I was charged again for the month of January. I have an email chain to provide as evidence.

I am rejecting this response because:

The business charge my checking account and a credit card for two different membership fees  they did refund my credit card, but I have seen nothing to indicate they are refunding my checking account.

Im concerned they are referring to the credit card and not my checking amount

      Regards,

My initial cancellation request was April 20, 2022. I followed up on July 27 and was able to connect with the manager who submitted a refund request on August 2. As of today, October 20, 2022, I have been promised several times that the refund would be issued by the manager, ******. However, every time she references "corporate" is handling but that there is no one for me to talk to directly regarding the refund or status. She claims they do not get back to her and that they are trying to process. Then she claims the refund was sent but I've never received it. I confirmed with my bank that there is no block against the company issuing a refund. Now the manager says I have to confirm that the nonexistent refund was returned to their organization before they can issue a refund. I NEVER RECEIVED A REFUND!Originally, I prepaid for first and last month of membership and prepaid for personal training sessions. Tried to cancel before moving and after paying all fees but wasn't allowed, then called to try to cancel or see where to write to cancel and they wouldn't let me, then emailed customer service asking for a resolution/alternative to cancel other than going in to the location that I now moved far away from and couldn't get back but never received a response. In the meantime, I was charged over $600 in dues. Manager submitted for a refund after I showed her I had been reaching out. She then said once approved, it could take 30 days to receive my refund. It has now been over almost 90 days from the Manager's original refund request and still nothing. Asked for a status of this and haven't heard back. I have been following up consistently every week or couple weeks with very few responses or updates from manager and no refund ever! I just want the refund I'm owed and especially when I already paid for my last month of membership up front and fulfilled all my obligations to them.

I signed up with this company, at their newest ******* location in ***,**, for one adult unlimited recovery services. The employee, ******, was the one who signed me up at the end of February. In March (3/29) this company wrongfully charged me the exact same amount ($66.75) three times and when my bank wouldn't let all three charges go through they restructured the amounts so that the amounts went through as one charge as $66.75 and then combined the other two to go through as $133.50. I noticed this issue on Friday (4/1) and was assured by the employees there that the Operation Manager (*********************) had been notified on Thursday (3/31) and that the charges would not go through. On Saturday (4/2) I found out from my bank that they forced through the charges (as stated above) and that they had let ******* in the corporate office know there was a mistake. I was also told they also fired ****** because this was not the only account this happened on. After two weeks of waiting and calling 2-3 times a week to speak to ********************* and receiving no response, I reached out to my bank so that they could reverse the charges only to be told by UFC, *** Op Mgr that UFC's "processing company " is completely separate entity and has no way of being reached and has to go through corporate (*******). Meanwhile they refused to let me use recovery services saying that it had been canceled so I could receive a refund for the mistake. I received neither services nor a refund for ******** mistake or greed to date. It is seven weeks later the operation manager has told me she "threw it over on the general manager's plate" and it was "his fault it has gone on this long". I simply want my refund for the mistake ****** made. The gym location is aware of the issue, but no one seems to be able to get in touch w/ ******* to fix the issue. I had asked for the amount to be refunded or for my account to be credited or for services to be reinstated for the additional 2 months I already paid for.
