My wife, *********************************, was admitted to Green Valley September 10 for recuperation and physical rehabilitation. ******** covered the cost for 21 days. ****** was not able to return home after this period at Green Valley and additional time was required..It was agreed we would do week to week "Private Pay" which I covered using check #***** for $1400.00 covering October 1 through October 7 2023.The morning of October 4; ****** was removed from Green Valley by ambulance and transported to ********************* Hospital. The following week (Tuesday October 10) I went by Green Valley administration inquiring when we would receive reimbursement for her unused stay. In addition her personal ******************* ******* was never returned after her departure. I did place two additional calls to Green Valley in an attempt to speak with the facility administrator ******. When he failed to return calls, I stopped by in person where ****** agreed that reimbursement would be made along with replacement of the blanket. He instructed me to purchase a replacement and bring him the receipt. This was accomplished November 12 and I presented ****** the receipt in person the following week. He indicated it takes two - three weeks for a reimbursement check to be sent.I have never received the reimbursement and ****** does not return telephone calls. My expectation is to receive 50% return on the $1400 paid ($700.00) along with $60.00 for replacing the blanket. This is going on 90 days.Business response

I was unaware of any disputed amount of upfront payment that **************** was requesting payment for. The only thing that was brought to my attention was the $60.00 Pittsburgh Steeler blanket that he had purchased as a result of the original blanket going missing. I have requested payment from my corporate office on that object, however, to avoid any further issues I will personally acquire a money order for the $60.00 and should **************** receive a check from our corporate for the additional $60.00 he is free to keep it. As for the $1,400 that is claimed to be owed, I will meet with my *************** Manager to ascertain the validity of this claim. My apologies for the late response, I will be in contact with **************** shortly. Thank you for reaching out to me with this concern, I hope to have it cleared up within the week.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:Green Valley indicated that if ****** was not there the entire week, we would receive a refund. She was there from Sunday until Wednesday morning when she was transported to the hospital.
This should result in a $700 refund from the $1400 paid. ****** was aware of this refund request.
