Dunrite Electric was hired to complete a job to get service for a meter. After several attempts of trying to get him to comply with *****’a request so that we can get power he is refusing to do so. We have forwarded emails from ***** to get the situation resolved. As a master electrician he should know the protocols in what is expected by *****. We are just asking him to comply with ***** is asking. He did the work so therefore show be responsible for seeing the issues are resolved.Business response

***** refused to connect power because it needed an inspection first as the equipment was old and disconnected for some time. We were asked to bring service equipment up to code to get the city inspection needed for ***** to connect power. We replaced the meter can, updated grounding and bonding so it was up to code. Inspection was passed. See attachment as to the scope of work agreed upon.
some time later ***** found that their utility line feeding the meter was damaged underground. It is *****s responsibility as it is their wiring. However ***** requires the customer provide the conduit. Multiple times I informed the customer it was not part of original scope of work and that we would not be the contractor doing that part. They got upset because I turned it away and here we are. In the attachment you will see the original quote and that it focuses on bringing up to code for inspection purposes. You will also find the passed inspections from the city verifying it meets code. There is remaining work to be done, install light fixtures and receptacles which we have never been informed of it being ready. Otherwise our agreed terms and scope of work are complete and satisfactory as well as passing all inspections the first time. They will have to get another contractor to do the underground repairs that were found months later after our installation. I did reach out to the corporate level manager and he was rude and unwilling to listen or communicate to a point of understanding. They are simply trying to make the additional work my responsibility as it clearly is not. As on now, we will not set foot back on site until a reasonable and logical solution is reached. Once done we will gladly go back and do any work remaining from the scope of the original quote.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:***** has stated what needs to be done on the electrician part. We have asked him in order to resolve the complaint just to give date in which he will come to fixed the wires that ***** has stated is needed by uncrossing the wires. He stated he will not discuss until issues is marked resolved with BBB. However we are just needing a date in which he will come to resolve the issues. If then he does not show up we can open a new complaint up.
