Tried to call dealer to request a return or a resolution on a lemon vehicle. No one including the Sales man ***, service Manager ****************** ****** or even the regional VP *** will return a phone call, they are avoiding obligations, and will not have a simple phone call. My vehicle was sent to Toyota in Odessa for a flat tire. The facility left my vehicle negligently without coverage causes several thousands of dollars in damages. Nobody notified me or went over any issues with me. I walked out to my vehicles with severe damage. I went back in to be told, we didnt have room, and the employee returned to a call.I contacted the manager to be told, we dont have time to look at every car, best I can do it refer to a bodyshop. I asked why was I not notified and this is unacceptable he continued with act of god. I am left with a vehicle that is less than a year old with thousands of dollars in games, no apology no repairs.Business response

This customer had their car here for service. While at the store a storm came through the area that included hail. The customers car was hit with hail. The customer claims neglect on the part of the dealership but that is not the case, but this was an "act of god" in the terms of the insurance world. The dealership is not responsible for storm damage due to hail just because the car was here. As an example if the customer had the car at work and their car was hit with the storm while at work, the employer would not be responsible for the damage. We understand the frustration from the customer, this is an unfortunate situation. We have hundreds of cars here hit with damage, and it is the same for many customers in our community as well. I understand this is not what the customer will want to hear, but the customer will be responsible for getting their car fixed. The customer will have to file a claim with their insurance company to get the vehicle repaired.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
I was not informed that any damage while under their care was my responsibility. The dealership left my car out while it was only being worked on for a flat tire. There was no call or communication that my vehicle was damage. They were going to let me drive off without any type of communication. When I attempted to address this with the technician, she responded withyeah we didnt have room and then got on the phone. When I call manager not even an apology. Simply a best I can do is refer you to body shop this was completely unprofessional. I was only there because my warranty requires it and left with a completely damaged car. I was never told that my car would be left out when the facility was working on it.
Regards,

As mentioned before, We understand the frustration the customer is experiencing due to the storm damage. We cannot control the weather and it is unfortunate that the vehicle got hit. The dealership did not damage the vehicle, therefore we are not responsible for the damage. The damage was done by an " act of God" a storm, and the customer will be responsible for claiming the damage on their insurance to get it covered. Like we also stated, if the customer would like assistance with a place to get the vehicle fixed and help getting the work done, after her insurance claim is made, we are more than glad to assist. In addition, on the customer's paperwork at the bottom of the Repair Order it also states we are not responsible for any damages, or articles left in the vehicle.Customer response

Saw and tested drive a vehicle on June 3rd. Purchased this used vehicle from Toyota on June 4th. Salesman stated that is a two-owner car nothing wrong with. He showed me the car fax , some pages, and stated he hill print a full copy.I trusted the name and the dealer. He stated that they stand behind their product. That they dont sell bad vehicles. I purchased from a Toyota dealership to avoid failures to disclosed, and to have someone responsible and hones to make a deal with. The car was send for wash and promised that will be ready the day after. The day after the ac went out and there was a leak on the garage. From the transmission, and some robe was holding the break caliper against the upper control arm . The car went in to the dealership. They kept it for over 3 weeks. Staff didnt communicate well and or return calls much. A deal was made, just so I can move on. I paid for the repair on Ac, they stated that the transmission leak was just a cracked seal, and that they took care of it. The dash on vehicle stated that it was time for an oil change.Sat the 9th,the service writer called me that the car was ready and taken care off. I paid over the phone, and Picked up the car at the dealership, after hours on that same day. The day after I noticed that the oil pan is dripping. I tough it was residual oil from oil change. I washed the under carriage, clean the garage floor. But the drip continues. It wasnt like hat when pourchas3ed and when it went into the dealer. However, days after pick up received and email from the dealer w/the results and recommendations after their multipoint inspection while it was there.Again, the vehicle wasnt leaking from motor's crankcase before going in, and the drivers axel wasn't leaking either. (maybe thats why they used some robe?)So either they failed to disclosed issues with the vehicle at time of purchase, (see attachment for full statement)
