The incident occurred on December 8, 2023, when my duly registered vehicle was stationed in a designated parking area within my ******, ***** apartment complex. Towards the end of November, a notification was affixed to my vehicle alerting me to its expired registration status. Subsequently, on November 30, 2023, I engaged in a conversation with a representative from the towing company, informing them of my intention to rectify the registration issue on December 1, coinciding with my military payday. The representative acknowledged awareness of my vehicle and assured me that this information would be duly noted. As planned, on December 1, I completed the vehicle registration process, with the registration becoming effective on December 2. I possess receipts, and have since received the corresponding registration sticker by mail, all evidencing the timely renewal of registration and lawful positioning of my vehicle in the designated spot. A cursory examination of the vehicle's license plate, as indicated by the company's own protocols, would confirm its legal registration status.Despite these facts, the towing company has unjustly seized my vehicle, demanding exorbitant fees akin to those found in underdeveloped nations, verging on extortion. In response to this flagrant disregard for legality and fairness, I am compelled to seek recourse through the Judge Advocate General (JAG), the military's legal arm, to facilitate the prompt and lawful recovery of my vehicle from this unscrupulous and unlawful towing entity.

      Good Morning,

************************* has a ***** Trailblazer that is grey Lp# SFS2031 **, That Vehicle is displaying Expired Reg since 09/23, ************************* Was stickered on 11/21/23 for the tow date on or after 12/01/23. That is giving him 10 days notice to get the reg updated. That includes the sticker. He has had months to get the registration fixed since it has been out since September 2023. Also, If Mr. ************************* spoke to the office they would of advised them to move the vehicle off the property or if he got the registration up dated to put the paperwork in the vehicles window. Mr. ************************* did his registration after the fact.
(12/05/23 online). By law we followed the protocol and the regulations we are to follow. I do apologies but Mr. ************************* was aware his registration needed to be updated since September of 2023. It is still Displayed Expired. (Also i have photos that show the ************* of the vehicle being stickered). ************************* has called the office stated that he was not going to get the vehicle out and this said vehicle has been here for over 60 something days.

      Thank you,

The vehicle has been here for 80 days I'm unsure what her complaint is. She is aware she can not have inoperable vehicles left on apartment complex properties. I apologies after 80 days of a vehicle being impounded her husband has received notices that the vehicle was impounded and the reason. Also We do not Steal vehicles we impound vehicles that are broken down.

These people are towing cars illegally and damaging them in the process. They have a driver whose TDLR was expired months ago. The company show all expired vehicles with TDLR and also has no registered tow trucks in *****.

      Good Afternoon,

All of our Drivers has a Tdlr. I'm not sure what her complaint is? By Law all the drivers that work for us must have one. Was she wanting more information about being towed?

      Thank you,

I am rejecting this response because:

His driver was not licensed on 4/20/2023 and neither were any of his truck but these however were renewed as of 4/24/2023. Please see attached screenshot taken on 4/22/2023 before he renewed with TDLR once notified of my complaint with TDLR.

      Regards,

Our trucks and licenses have never been expired, I'm not sure where she is getting her information regarding that. The said person in her screenshots is currently just a mechanic and yard worker due to reasons not related to work. Yes, their TDLR was renewed and that's because I will be leaving town for a while and don't know if they will be resuming work while I am gone. I'm the one who handles their licenses and it would have been inconvenient for me to have to handle it while I was away. Miss ***** may think what she likes, but this seems to be a little over excessive because of a clerical error one of my dispatchers made.

We live in a apartment complex in *******, **. We had permission from the apartment management to park where she told us to park our truck and trailer. We came in late from out of town and let the manager know we would have the truck and trailer out of there in the morning. At 8:am we went to get in our truck to leave and it was gone. We called around and found it had been towed by ARS Towing. I call and ask the lady at ARS who called it in or why it was towed. She explains to me that they took it upon themselves to tow it because it was doubled parked, I said to her as was the two other vehicles with trailers hooked up to them as well. The lady at ARS let me know that it would be $308.50 for each vehicle the vehicle on the trailer and the vehicle the trailer is attached to. We are hardworking people and live on a budget with no extra cash and have a baby and the apartment manager knows that and was willing to help us out and then you get rude people like ARS that just take it upon themselves to tow vehicles and their response it rude. Not their problem they need money to get vehicles out of tow. How are people like these allowed to operate a business and pray on the hardworking people because they can. How is this even allowed? 4/11/2023 $617.00

      Business response

      05/02/2023

Towing from an apartment complex is allowed because there is a contact set up between the towing company and the apartment complex. Everything that we tow for is explained in the lease they signed and is listed on the towing signs that are posted. If the apartment complex was going to help them out, that has nothing to do with us. Us doing our job is not rude. If we let everyone off the hook for their vehicle being towed, we'd be out of business. The reason the customer was charged for two is because the vehicle and the trailer had to be towed in separately. The trailer had a vehicle on it, making it too heavy to tow as one unit. There was no mistake made by us, therefore a refund will not be given. If you have any more questions, we'd be glad to answer them. Thanks, and have a wonderful day.

Towed my car from my apartments at 9:00pm. No one called on me. Driver was driving around and just took my car saying it was blocking driveway! My car was LEGALLY in front of my apartment parked for 5 minutes so that I can take my laundry upstairs as I recently had surgery. Had to pay $30 to Uber to get to office then over $300 that I did not have as Ive been out for work due to my hospitalization. My apartment is livid and suggest I take legal action. I think I agree. This is very wrong. When I call, woman in front will not allow me to speak with supervisor. Receptionist woman admits that company is stealing cars and states thats why I will never live in an apartment because of this job! Not only do I want my money back but I NEED it back. I will not let this go. This company is EVIL! Just look at the ****** reviews. They need to be shut down!

This "tow" company has now ILLEGALLY towed my car twice from an apartment complex even when I had a parking pass. They extort outrageous fees and are by far the rudest people I have ever dealt with. I will be filing an illegal tow claim in justice court and will be sueing for the full amount allowed. This tow company breaks into cars, moves parking stickers and claims they were not in view. Criminal action. Have already begun the reporting process to law enforcement also. This company needs to be shut down immediately. The BBB needs to take REAL action and deal with these criminals

The problem started when the company towed my car and did not contact me to tell me they had it. When a neighbor told me, he knew the number of the towing company the apartment complex used I gave them a call when I got to work today (Tuesday, April 9, 2022). I called the number around 8:15am. Not being from Odessa I did not know the protocol of how they did things. I asked the person who answered the phone if my car was there, she said yes. When I asked her how much it was going to cost to get it out she said $272. She did not go into detail as to the price would change the longer I had my car there. In Houston we had 24 hours to get our vehicle then they start raising the prices. Something didnt feel right so on my break at 12:15pm I called ARS towing again and that when the person who answered the phone again, said that every 12 hours the price to get the car out goes up. I asked when the car was towed and she said a little after 10:00pm. She preceded to say that after 10am the price went up and it was going to go up every 12 hours the car stays there along with a storage fee and an impoundment fee. They even charged me a storage fee. If I would have had that information the first time I called I would have made arrangement to go get my car before 10:00am.I feel I was scammed because the woman who was answering the phone did not share important information to help me make a wise decision. If I did not have a neighbor to help me, my car would have still been confined and just imagine how much I would have had to pay., The towing company never reached out to me to let me know they had my car when they picked it up at 10pm that evening. Just imagine how devastated I was when I could not find my car in the parking lot at 7 this morning. Over the weekend, I found out two family members passed days apart and this situation took a told on me. I ended up paying ****** dollars and I dont feel like I should have had to pay those extra fees. I want my money back.
