I hired this company to move a mobile home 15 miles from Gardendale to Odessa. When I spoke to ******************* she asked me if I was hiring my own contractors to hook up the utilities and put on the skirting and I said no I wanted them to do everything. She quoted me $11,350. They moved the home last Friday November 11th. I checked the home on Saturday November 12th and the skirting was inside of it and utilities not hooked up. I emailed **** on Monday November 14th to ask when they were coming back to put on the skirting and hook up the utilities. I called her as well and she asked me if we discussed the utilities and I said yes that I told her I was not using my own contractors and they were supposed to handle it. **** said she would need to call her manager. Today I received an email from **** that they wanted me to pay an additional $8,495 to finish the job. This company is refusing to finish and is wanting in total around $20,000 to for a 15 mile move. This was not what we discussed and agreed on. I paid for the move in full - $11,350 prior to any work being done and expect them to honor was was told to me.

I informed **** with MaD Trucking on 7-20-22 on the 2nd day their Midland ************************ was onsite working on drywalling, painting etc prepping my new DW Solitaire Manufactured Home to soon move in. On that day via a phone call I asked **** who they would be supplying to clean up all the drywall mess that was coating so much of the **************************** said that would up to Solitaire the home builder but when I spoke with ****** & the ******************* with Solitaire they said that its in their subcontracting companies for their crews to clean up after themselves which wasnt done to the cleanliness of what it was before the trim crew started. For the next many days leading up to my move in date of **** I had texted, called **** multiple times about this issue with no resolve. I ended up hiring a cleaning crew called Merry Maids located in *********** wanted to have Mad Trucking cover some of the cleaning costs which was going to cost me 295 plus tax, for 2 hour minimun at 130hr plus a 35 dollar trip fee. On **** I emailed the owner ********************* to let him know about this issue & a few others to see If I might get a faster response. **** texted me on **** @ 12:28pm to send her a picture of the final invoice to have **** view. I texted back at 12:33pm that I had to cancel the cleaners Appt. that was set for 9am on **** & I now was going to be cleaning now. Without prior approval I wasnt going to spend that much. On **** after a few ************ of cleaning the **************** areas that the messes were the worst, I texted **** at 12:22pm that for my time I was asking 100, she would get it over to **** for Approval. At 12:36pm I let **** I was given them to end of business day **** to let me know or I would be filing complaints. On **** with no reply I filed a complaint with FTC & let her ********** argued that I didnt give them enough time, which is obvious I did. Im now requesting 150 for not resolving this much sooner & the extra work I had to do
