Nathaniel N I contacted Resound Network in Ref: of new Internet Service approximately 25 January this year . We discussed the programs, I also told her that I had an approved letter form *** authorizing me a $30.00 discount on the plan that I choose. She needed a copy of that letter so I explained that She would have to walk me thru the process of forwarding it because of lack of understanding on the computer. She sent back a message saying she would enroll me In the program as soon as my account was active. I have received my second invoice, payment due 25 Mar.2024 with no change in the amount due. I asked and the answer, something about a DOB. She didn't enroll me but I'm approved by ***. My acct * *****. I'm being unjustly discriminated against, a 79 yrs. old Black Disabled Vietnam War Veteran, Retired after 22Yrs of service. SHE (Inside Account Executive) .

We take accusations like this very serious within our organization. We have customers of all ethnic backgrounds and do not discriminate against anyone. When we took the customers DOB it was incorrect and therefore was not able to apply the ACP credit. We reached out several times to the customer to verify his DOB and get this resolved but did not get a call back. We would be happy to get this resolved and get the corrected DOB on file so we could apply the credit for them.

Resound won RDOF funding for the State of Arkansas in the Phase One round, yet has provided ZERO information to consumers in the affected regions of planned rollouts and implementations to systems. The RDOF auction ended on Nov. 25, 2020, and Resound was awarded $310.7 million dollars and has yet to implement a single thing anywhere. Not only that, the bid was done with the implication that they would be serving these households with fiber-to-home internet, now they have shifted my region to fixed wireless. This is a questionable act by the company and a dishonest practice where they misrepresented what they implied in their government bid. The company needs to provide immediately a phased rollout plan for their awarded regions so people can see when they may be able to expect internet access. It is going on two years since the contract was awarded and NOTHING. There have been multiple attempts made to find more information, and nothing has been provided. I want to know SPECIFICALLY what the expectations are for Bid ID# AR *************************************************************** ************, and I can't get anything out of anyone.

Unfortunately we at Resound Networks have not received the final approval from the FCC to begin building internet services out to these locations. We are ready to go and have people in place to start building as soon as we get the final approval from the FCC. We wish we could give you an exact timeline as to when we will be building your specific census block but that is difficult to do without the final approval from the FCC. Currently the approval process is in the FCC's hands and Resound Networks has not received one cent for this auction. Furthermore Resound has a hybrid design that was submitted to the FCC for the buildout using both FTTH and Fixed Wireless depending on where you were located.
