I am a 100% permanent total disabled veteran in the process of divorce. Blessed to have inherited my grandparents home yet in need of repairs to become habitable. This home has a mortgage balance of approx $32k. March 2023, in search of a loan, **** ** ******* directed me to Mr.Kevin ********* whom they say specializes in helping veterans with home loans for purchase and/or repairs. Between March 2023 and November 2023, I submitted every document that either Mr. ********* and Ms. Grace ********* requested. On November 2nd I recieved an email from Ms Grace stating that she will submit my application for underwriting approval. Nov 14th, I called Ms Grace to get an update. She did not answer nor dod she return my call. On Nov 16, I texted Mr. ********* telling him that I havent heard anything for 2 weeks. He texted back and says that he "OWES" me a call. (this suggests that there was a lack of communication of his part) During the call he explains that my loan was approved but not approved. He said it was complicated. I asked him then to send a document explaining so that I can refer to it being that I would continue my search elsewhere for loans. On Nov 16th, Ms. Grace returned to me every document that I had sent to her. On Nov 18th, I texted Mr. ********* asking a 2nd time to please send me in writing, explaining why my loan was denied. He failed to respond. On Nov 20th I replied to the email that Ms Grace sent on Nov 16th, (I tagged Mr ********* as well) stating that I do not need those documents because obviously I have those. Also, I requested a 3rd time for a letter of denial. Today is Dec 20, 2023 and neither of them have responded nor have I received an official denial letter. I would like an apology, a detailed letter stating the reason my loan was denied and for management to explain to their staff that ignoring patient polite disabled veterans like myself is very unprofessional. Communication is key especially when done effectively.
