Purchased vehicle September 18th, 2024. Have not received tags. Need a replacement sent to a new address. Have attempted to contact dealership about new address. Call is transferred to a full voicemail. The only reponse I receive is text message about buying a car.Business response

Purchased a vehicle with cash in full (i.e. no lien) on 9/20/2023. Car was shipped from ** to CA when it arrived on 9/27/2023 there were no temporary plates on the vehicle. To date I have not received the title and no temporary plates/registration... without these items I am unable to register/drive the car in CA.Called the Texas DMV and they advised BOTH these items should have been provided at time of purchase.Business response

*********************** was not a deal purchased through our store.
***** did purchase through a different store that has the same owner but is not the Chevrolet store. I spoke to the Controller of that store and know that when a vehicle is purchased through them, they are not able to hand over the title at that time because titles are not held at the store. The title and paperwork are typically sent to the *** for processing, but this was a cash deal and ***** wanted to title himself in **********. When World ********** ******* received the title, it was sent to ***** from my understanding this has already been completed. I also spoke to ***** myself and called the dealership he bought from and let them know to send him a temporary plate until he could go to CA and get it registered. I would be happy to help, but again this has nothing to do with World Auto Chevrolet LLC.
If there is anything else that needs to be done, please let me know, but I do not want this to reflect poorly on the World Auto Chevrolet store.

Agreed to pay for windshield replacement as part of the sale, then didn't follow thru ($450.00), sold us a car with no spare tire ($110 to replace), Salesgirl said she still owed us a half tank of gas because there wasn't enough money on the debit card she used to buy gas ($40). So all in all, I'm out $600 due to their dishonest business practices. Receipts for windshield and tire can be provided on request.Business response

First of all, let me say we appreciate your business, and we are going to see what we can do to make this right. We have here the signed document showing that we did setup to have a windshield replaced, we weren't aware that you did this on your own, typically we schedule it through the dealership to be replaced. If you would like to send us the receipt, we will reimburse you. This is all that was agreed upon based on the signed documentation in your car deal. We do not fill up used vehicles with fuel, typically only put ***** in a pre-owned vehicle when it is sold. We also have a signed document stating that the vehicle is sold AS-IS that is signed by *********************, so when it comes to the complaint of not having a spare tire that isn't required and was sold AS-IS.

I am rejecting this response because: only $25 was put in the tank. ******** stated that she would refill the tank again when the car was brought back to Pecos for the windshield. ******** never told us the windshield was available. The last I heard from her was on July 14, so I made arrangements on the 18th to get the windshield replaced in Alpine, as we requested from ******** to save my daughter a 200 mile drive while her back was out. There has been zero response from ******** since the 14th. Selling a car with no spare is something I'd expect out of a " Buy here, pay here." Dealership, not out of a dealership through the registered as a full-fledged car dealer..

I understand what you are saying. I spoke with ********************************* our General Manager, and he said he just spoke with your wife and when your daughter gets the windshield replaced, we will pay for it from here on our card. He also said that he would pay for the replacement of the spare tire. The reason ******** hasnt responded to you or updated you is due to the fact that she is no longer employed at the dealership. We would like to keep you as a valued customer and hope this will resolve any issues you had with us at World Auto.

That "No dealership" provides a tank of gas with a used car, i disagree completely. When we purchased the 2018 Challenger from Colt (worlds predecessor) back in 2020, it came with a full tank of gas, further, the 2020 **** ranger we Purchased used from West star Chevrolet came with a full tank of gas.. So, in fact, dealerships Do, indeed, provide a tank of gas as a courtesy to their appreciated buyers

On February 19th 2022, my *********** purchased a truck from World Auto Chevy in *****, **. From the moment we walked in the door, it was a complete disaster. We were there for over 6 hours waiting for their computer system to come back up only for it to still be down, so they reassured that we could get paperwork done from home through the computer as soon as it came back up & just had us sign an as is warranty & a warranty from Smart Auto that would cover any transmission issues. We test drove the ********** drove fine so we had no issue signing these warranties. Next day, the truck wouldnt go into gear& left my husband stranded. We had to call a mechanic out to fix it, & ended up having to change the transmission ************* He also told us the transmission was bad & needed to be replaced. We immediately got in contact with the dealership who then told us we had to wait 45 days for warranty to kick in before they could do anything to help us. As soon as the warranty became valid, we sent the truck to the shop to have it replaced. When the appraiser from Smart Auto came out to look at truck, they said the lift kit on truck in which they sold us was too tall & it voided the warranty. So we then got ahold of the dealership asking for help in this matter considering they sold us this truck knowing the transmission was bad & that the warranty they sold us wouldnt cover it. We canceled the warranty like we were told, expecting to get the refund to cover the rest of the replacement only to find out yesterday that the refund will go to the Lien holder. After many attempts at reaching out to resolve this matter, they sent a $2000 check to transmission repair shop but we still need $1800. ****** the ** told us yesterday he could send $500 & I told him they could do better by covering the entire replacement. He said we wouldve replaced if we had a transmission mechanic here. So proof they know what they sold us. Been ignored MULTIPLE times now & this needs fixed.Business response

We certainly understand how you feel when the computers are down it does make us much more disorganized. Paperwork was signed with the as-is, as any vehicle would have that we sell. We do also sell warranties because anything can happen when purchasing a preowned vehicle, there are some things that are not covered from time to time. We have also cancelled the warranty as you requested. We are legally required to send the funds to your lender, they are the ones that paid for the vehicle and warranty, this payment will be paid as a principal only payment. We have tried multiple times to resolve this, as we would like for everyone to have a good experience with our store.
