The bolts on our a/c unit rusted and broke off bending the fan blades and damaging the motor. We were told that the unit was still covered under our warranty. They charged us an initial $189 just to come out and look at it. The tech then scheduled another appointment to repair the unit. He recommended replacing the cover we told him it was not damaged and only 3 years old. He said he would send a quote for labor, but he never did. Day of install he took less than 40min to complete and left without a word. We found 2 separate charges for $1670 customer service stated this was incorrect and would be fixed by next week. Final charge came to $1470. We called and was told the tech installed a new cover for $1000 and charged labor for each part he put in. We called again asking for a manager no one called that was last week. We also told them that the new bolts installed are already rusting. They should be rust resistant. We were charged a total of $1659 for a unit that was still covered under the warranty.

Austin Air Conditioning is doing fraudulent billing on me. My husband passed away and Austin air sent me a bill for over $10,000. For air-conditioning set up on one of my buildings however, the ** units were actually not sit out at all. It was a fraudulent bill. The bill was an invoice for mistakes made by their company by installing HV** duct work that did not meet city code. My husband, the builder, had already advised Austin **. He was not going to pay for their mistakes when they found out that my husband had passed away, they tricked me into paying for their mistakes and falsified the information on the invoice I intend to contact the Attorney General if they do not cease-and-desist with this fraudulent billing, they should be ashamed of themselves for preying on a widow
