I signed my contract with Tropical Pools of Austin in April 2021. The pool is still not complete and I have paid 95% of the total quoted price plus 100% of the upgrades added on after the contract. Originally, **** quoted 3-4 months for completion. When he couldn't get the permit approved in the first 2 months, he asked if I wanted to proceed with the pool without a permit. I declined. In December he told me the job would be done in January, in January he told me February, and so on. Promises have been made like this and broken every month along the way. Electrical and inspections were supposed to be done in May. The in floor cleaner does not clean any debris from the pool, no matter how small. The slide doesn't function properly. The lights on the stairs to the slide don't work, there are no railings, the sundecking is not done, the built in kitchen area has no stone, no gutters, no electrical, and no ceiling. There is no gas hooked up to the spa and the pool equipment is leaking. In the beginning of September he promised things would be worked on. They haven't. On September 15th he said the step lights would be finished the week of the 19th. Now he's not responding to me at all. It has been 17 months+ since I signed the contract and my pool is not done and **** is not responding. I hope the BBB can help me get this project finished or I have to choice but to go to litigation which I'd like to avoid at all costs.Business response
