Worst experience of my life! Wish a zero was an option. Had my 2023 Honda Accord towed to Clark Knapp Honda for a computer meltdown a couple of weeks ago. I was told: 1. Next available date was March 28, 2024 2. Drive your car to Harlingen, we are very busy 3. You don’t qualify for a loaner - even thou my car only is still under (2) warranties 4. We need to diagnose before we can provide a loaner 5. Finally you don’t qualify because you live in Starr County 5. We cannot use our our ride services because you fall outside their 10 mile radius 6. You didn’t buy it from us- first alarming clue of their incompetence that I should have listened!!! 7. I received 1 phone call to let know that my car was 3rd in line to be diagnosed 8. No communication with me after that initial phone call for the next 10 days 9. I was told by one “genius” in my contact list to file a complaint against CKH with ******** ***** - that was a total waste of time!!! 10. Than came the onslaught on text from the sales department at CKH asking the features I was looking for in my “new 2024” Honda? I kept repeating, Just fix my 2023 Honda! 11. When I finally found a human being to talk to, the “genius” came to the conclusion that I needed to buy a new car to resolve my problem 12. My final offer was ok - take this to your boss - give me your 2024 with all the features on my 2023 especially the color - I pay the $8,000 I still owe on my 2023 and we call it even - I heard a gasp over the phone and I got rid of all the geniuses trying to rope me into buying a new car - I would be a good negotiator against CKH!! 13. Took a phone call from my daughter in Allen, Tx to release my car - without an explanation as to why the computer went haywire. 14. Clark Knapp Honda honored one warranty - the tow truck! - how privileged they are that they get to pick and choose what’s best suit them!!! They make and choose their own policies with no repercussions answerable to no one!!!
