On April 17, 2024 I booked a travel stay for work through what I thought was the Hilton website. I booked and paid in advance. The taxes seemed steep, but I received a confirmation that appeared authentic through what I thought was ******. My co-worker booked through Hilton directly. She paid half the price. Unfortunately, I was scammed and booked through hotel values website. In researching it appears I paid over $181.11 in service fees and there was a very inflated room price per night ($217 instead of $152.62- including taxes). I realized this when checking in and I was not eligible to redeem my Hilton points because I had accidentally booked through a 3rd party website. And now I cannot submit a proper itemized receipt for reimbursement for my company because I was duped into paying extra fees and charges.

I booked a hotel through what I thought was the hotel website (Holiday Inn). ****** took me to a third party site, in this case, hotel values. I entered the dates for Friday-Saturday. It was my fault I didnt double check the dates when booking - and I made a mistake and booked last night instead. When I realized this I contacted customer support to ask if I could change the date. I could not, which I understand. I then asked if I could be charged on a other card because the card I had used was for work and since I did not stay at the hotel last night, I would get in trouble using my company card. They would not let me change cards, saying they are not allowed to do refunds - even though Im not asking for a refund, Im asking for them to change the card that was charged. I was on the phone for *************************************************************** within a half hour to discuss it further. Its been several hours and Ive heard nothing. I dont believe this business is legit and I am concerned.

I booked a hotel stay for September 2024 online and I thought I was booking directly with the hotel but it was Hotelvalues.com. I specifically remember reading about a 72 hour cancellation period - there was nothing that stated the amount was non-refundable. It also stated the estimated charges were around $1100 and I assumed that was after taxes and fees. I booked the hotel shortly before 10:00pm on April 18th. Nothing on the page indicated that it was to be paid in full right away but then it showed that they submitted the full charge. As soon as I realized my card was charged - minutes later - I cancelled my reservation as I didn't want to pay in advance as my dates are not confirmed. The amount was also much higher than they stated - $1586.49 including high fees. There was no warning during the cancellation that my booking was non-refundable. I received a confirmation email at 10:00PM 4/18/24 that my reservation was cancelled R4875003400. I did not read the fine print at first because I had no indication that it was non-refundable. I received a confirmation email without any reservation details or an itemized receipt from *************************** at 10:37PM 4/18/24 - AFTER I CANCELLED the reservation. I never received an itemized confirmation email. When the charge never got refunded I called the hotel values line multiple times and was hung up on and transferred and then told to talk to the hotel that they need to do the refund. Hotel Anduluz confirmed they saw my reservation and at it was cancelled same day but they confirmed they never received payment so I had to seek a refund from the vendor. I have tried calling multiple times since and then disputed the charge through my card but it was just credited back. I got no service - no one is out any money except me - the hotel is now fully booked and I don't have a room and I owe $1586.49 for no service. These are fraudulent business practices. I am seeking a full refund.

I was trying to book a room online directly through holiday inn bar harbor regenecy website. While checking out my reservation a pop up appeared while I was typing my email from a third party website (hence the partial email on confirmation) also why I booked again directly through the hotel because I thought it was a hoax and I did t have a room booked. So now Im booked and charged twice, I want to stay there and pay one fee. I am well within reasonable amount of time to fix this. I didnt realize this was happening during the checkout and completed my checkout on the wrong website. I was charge double the amount for June 22- June 24 with no breakfast included. I filed a complaint with my credit card company as now I have two reservations with this hotel. They refuse to cancel or refund the stays when these are services I havent received and I tried cancelling immediately on May 3rd when this occurred, well within most cancellation policies. This company is awful and I cant get through to the hotel- they put you on hold for hours whenever you call.

Hotel values.com defrauded me of $441.51 in a transaction for the ****** Hotel in ********, MX on 4/30/2024. They spoofed the ****** web page where I make reservations. I prepaid $1525.35 USD for a room that only cost $1055 in USD for the week. My stay was for 5/1-8/2024. My room rate was approximately (depends on exchange) $154/night. When I called hotel values at **************, **** said it was because the hotel charged me wrong and offered me a 15% discount. Basically, then they would only be stealing $213. Then ******** said it was for taxes and fees which had been disclosed ahead. That is a lie. I am filing with the BBB, my bank, the ******************* and the **** Thank you for any help.

I was reserving a room at *************************************. The third party site is www.atlanticsandshotel.guestreservations.com/.. which I believe intentionally misleads the user to think they are booking with the hotel. When booking is being made, I clicked on Terms and Conditions where it says the purchase is subject to hotel cancellation policies. I checked those policies and refunds are given when reservations are cancelled at least 72 hours in advance. The confirmation email AFTER the purchase is made says no cancellations or refunds are given ever. I went back and scoured for what I missed. This second cancellation policy is hidden under 'Booking Details.' They will not refund my money. I checked Trust Pilot and found many very similar complaints. This company is intentionally misleading the consumer. When I called to ask for a refund, they offered 10% back or nothing. The email confirmation of the 10% back threatens that 'in the case of a credit card dispute, the refund will be null and void.' I choose to risk the $100 in hopes of stopping this company from continuing to trick people this way. I have also asked my credit card company to dispute the charge, but they are not optimistic. Thank you for your help.

I booked a ******************************** in ******* for the weekend of August 23rd -25th using Hotel Values. I provided my credit card information over the phone so they could book the reservation. Afterwards, I noticed a 2nd charge for a different La Quinta hotel in ******* for the same exact dates as my first reservation. I did not authorize a booking at that hotel. I called Hotel Values back and explained that they booked me erroneously and wanted a refund. They told me they couldnt issue a refund even though it was their error and I did not approve the transaction.

On 4/30/2024 I attempted to make a reservation at the *******************. I thought I was on the Hotel site and without realizing it I was on Hotel Values. I made a reservation. The reservation process - Did not notify me that my credit card would be immediately charged.- did not notify me of additional fees (which totaled $199.58)- Did not notify me of a cancellation fee (which is $207.33)- Did not provide me the opportunity to review purchase before executing it - Did not provide me with any valid way to contact customer service. The phone number on the email transferred me to booking.com whom could not help me.Booking Ref. # ********** Booking Confirmation # R4897772293 Confirmation email address ************************************************************** Contact phone number provided.
