I enrolled in health care insurance for the month of August while I was in between employers on July 18th, 2024.The agent for told me that I was purchasing 1 month of insurance and it would not charge us again in September. On September 1st, my wife and I noticed a charge of $449.94 for that month of health insurance.I called the agency and requested a refund explaining my situation and they said they would email me regarding the potential refund and if they would process it.I never received an email from them regarding this refund and decided to call them on 9/27/24.The first time I called them, I was put on hold as "no one was available to take my call" and when it sounded like someone picked up, there was silence.I called back right away and was able connect to an agent, verified all my information, then as I was explaining the situation to them and asking about a refund, I hear a "click" and then an automated voice system says "no one is available to take your call right now" and then the call just ended. This is extremely shady and I would love to get this money back as I did not need the health care insurance and they are not taking my calls.

We are so sorry to hear that you are having difficulties with your selling agent. We are not the insurance agency that sold this to you nor are we an insurance company. Affiliated Workers Association ***** is a non-profit association that provides access to resources and benefits to its members. The communication you are describing happened with your insurance agency, not the ***. We have contacted our third-party billing administrator (TPA) to inquire further about your account. They informed us that your sales agency on your account is listed as Millennium Health Advisors located in *******. If you check your emails for your purchase, you should see this information listed. The *** has also informed us that your account has been cancelled and refunded. Please check your email for confirmations. We hope this helps.

I thought I was purchasing insurance with a reputable company. Come to find out I cant use the insurance. I do not have $428.23 laying around. Amemberbill.com charged me $428.23 dollars junk insurance. I need my money back ASAP so I can purchase real insurance. This practice is shameful.

My daughter applied on July 22 for health insurance for herself. She had had marketplace in ******** and is living with me now in ***********. She called to get it transferred was told she needed to pay $152.49 that day and then that would be the premium monthly. So I used my debit card to pay it for her. She found out when she went to use her insurance card last week that she does not have insurance. She was on the phone with Cigna her insurance company for over an hour and they said it looks like this company Amemberbill.com collected the money when it was not even due think theyre like a third-party company. Her monthly premium is actually zero. So they told me they had no idea where the money went so I got on the Internet and then I see all these things about its a SCAM!! I cannot get through to them as there is no number or way to contact them. im trying to get my money back but my bank Truist is denying it. Can I get my refund back? Thank you!

Members of this company are posing as Government Officials, saying that they work for the state and are representatives for HealthCare.Gov. They tell you this to lure you in and gain you trust, then sell you fake ************** Policies - not ************************ as they advertise. The member ID numbers provided are fake, and don't actually work once you get to the doctor's office. They send you a falsified document to sign with fake information detailing your plan but in reality they're taking out a life insurance policy on your behalf. I demand a refund of the $513.94 you charged me - I noticed it instantly when the confirmation came from Allstate, not Aetna. I do not consent to a ************** policy through Allstate. I am informing you less than 24 hours after the initial purchase which entitles me to a full refund and if you do not grant me as such, I will dispute the charge with my credit card company, which I have already discussed with them. I expect a response with confirmation of reversing the charge first thing in the morning.

My wife and I purchased this "insurance" on July 5, as she is pregnant and having a baby can be very expensive. The insurance cost us $428.99 for the first month, and the coverage started today, on August 1. Today on August 1, we found out that the insurance will not cover any of our needs even though we discussed all of this with the agent before we purchased the insurance. This is fraud, they are not delivering the services that the promised, and I really do not have extra money sitting around to be scammed like this. As I said we are pregant and now I guess we have to move forward with self-pay. I was on the phone with them for an hour trying to get a refund, and they just keep saying it is impossible, which is unbelievable as we are even calling on the very first day of our coverage. We would really appreciate any help with this.

On 7/19/24 I signed up for health insurance. I was told it was month to month through First health. They would charge my cars in the first of August. I was to receive an email within 5 bus days with digital health cards. And bus 5 days after that hard copies in the mail. My CC statement would show amember.com with ****** charge. I've received no email. Looked up *********** and apparently its an elaborate health insurance scam. They charged my card 7/19/24 the day I called. When called to cancel they said they would send me an email within 72 hours with cancelation # and amount going back to card.

This business completely misrepresented itself and is a complete insurance scam. On 7/23/24, I reached out to get set-up with a healthcare plan through what appeared to be affiliated with the New ***************** for health insurance. The individual, named ****, told me I was getting set-up with Aetna Silver. I paid $346.00 for this service when, in fact, I did not receive the health insurance that was promised to me. The fraudulent company is Amemberbill.com and I reached out to them multiple times. They hung up on me the first two times when I asked about immediately canceling this service and wanting a full refund since this was completely misrepresented. I tried to explain what I was promised (************) versus what was received and they would not listen to what I was saying. The service was advertised as Aetna Silver and I received emails from TVP and Allstate, which was never disclosed to me on the phone when I first called to set-up health insurance. Additionally, the individuals I spoke to would not allow me to cancel. I finally got transferred to "upper management" and she told me that she could not send an email verifying the cancelation request. This company is a complete scam and I need a full refund of $346.00 with a full cancelation.

Two months ago, we were sold this as a health insurance coverage policy for $279/month. We were unable to use this for health insurance, because it is a life insurance policy and not health insurance. Therefore, we paid out of pocket. We were misled and since then have had numerous amounts of solicitating phone calls. We would like to request a full refund for the two months paid, since we are unable to use this for health care coverage.

We are not an insurance company, and we are not the insurance agency that sold this to you. Your insurance agency of record is Legacy Health ******************* based in *******. We are not the same company. We have contacted our third-party billing administrator (TPA) to inquire further about your account.
