Beckett **************** treats customers like trash when they prove theyre right. I took photos of my card before it got packaged by Beckett. When they returned my card corners were messed up like they might have dropped it. Showed them before and after photos and they stopped responding. Made the comment that its your word against ours. Then when I produced pictures I never heard anything back The customer service lady names is **** Dont waste your money with this company. It's been 9 weeks since I paid for the *********************** Still nothing and the don't answer calls or emails. The Nationals are coming up the end of July. They should not be able to do business until they clean up the mess and backlog they have.Review from Jeremy C

Paid for a cert reorder and they won't answer the phone, return emails, or respond in any professional manner. I've already paid and it's been a month without any shipping info or tracking number. I'm only 1 state away too but this is one of the worst companies to deal with hands downReview from Dave K

I submitted two trading cards for grading, the cards were returned to me, both with final grading of a 9. The cards arrived February 14, 2024 and had been accidentally been interchanged when put into their cases at Beckett Media. I attempted to call a ***** number to reach the company, and the number had been disconnected. Through an internet search I found the number. When I call, the number provides a menu of options. Several options inform the customer to use the on-line contact us form and then hangs up. I submitted a complaint through the on-line contact us on February 14th. I receive a response from a person named **** on February 16th asking for photos. **** didn't identify herself with a last name, a phone number or any way to connect with her. I submitted the photos on February 16th. I sent reminder emails each week. It has now been 3 weeks and 3 reminder messages without a reply.What disturbs me about this company, is that the phone menu is setup to notify customers that need action from Beckett Media to go to the faceless black hole of an on-line form. They don't provide case numbers for their customer complaints or any way to effectively communicate with them. And yet, if Beckett Media sees a way to make money, such as buying their subscription service, then you get a chance to talk to a real person.Even the Better Business Bureau shows the Beckett Media information incorrectly. The BBB shows the correct address, the correct website.....and the disconnected phone number.Companies that provide a service such as Beckett Media should provide equal access to customer service (a person) as they do when they attempt to sell and make money.Review from Mark L.

Signed up for a grading service account @ $349.99, (in November 2022) UNKNOWINGLY that it was an auto-renewal and was charged the $349.99 again on 11/20/23 and immediately sent multiple emails to Becketts customer support and have never heard back and finally found a customer support number only to be told that they can't/won't refund me because I was aware of the auto-renewal. I have NEVER used the service because they make it so difficult to use the service and then keep charging without notification, it is a complete scam.Review from Justin M

Sent two cards in to Beckett to be graded. Was told turn around time was ***** days, its been 92. No communication from the company, not even being apologetic, always excuses that they email you on why the card isnt back on time, especially the ridiculous price you have to pay. I would highly recommend not getting anything graded by this companyReview from John H

Sent an item to be graded, it was sent back ungraded and considered not to be authentic. Yet they can't provide me with any metrics they utilized to determine this!! This organization and I use that term loosely, isn't professional and lacks the expertise needed for the industry. Send your cards to PSA for grading.Review from Gregory G.

I have submitted a Item to get graded by Beckett Authentication services, the item was a ************************* signed Vinyl Record that I have won directly from The Band in a Contest that was provided by them. After submitted the item to Beckett Authentication I got the notification that the item was Not Authentic, even though the item was, and I proved to the company where it came from, and I showed how it was signed by ************************* himself. After speaking with numerous employees and proving how the item was real their only selection was for me to pay the $ 91 grading service again after already paying for the item and proving its real just to roll the dice and try it again with no guarantees. After asking to speak with a manager and never getting a response they basically said that's just our policy and how we did it, and it does not matter that you proved us wrong, and the item is authentic you still have to double pay and try and get the item appraised again. No Thank you I will be taking my business to PSA from now one moving forward.Review from Josh C

I ignored the one/two star ****** reviews when I submitted to Beckett because I've always appreciated them for their price guide. How bad could their grading service be? Turns out, pretty bad. People have complained about the length of time your order is processed and I also had the same experience. You pay for ***** days, and three months later, I'm still waiting. But honestly, I'm not in any hurry so I'm not furious about the delay. Would I like them to be on time for what I paid for? Sure. But what I am most slighted by are the incredibly incompetent customer and account ********************. ********************** has a "My Orders" page. To this day, 3-months later, this has not been updated so I have no clue where in the order process I am or if things are moving, stuck, etc. (also, side note, my Previous Orders haven't ever been populated either so I have no account history to show for). So, out of frustration and confusion, one emails. They go unanswered (as others state). So one calls. Most of the time when I call, it rings and rings until an automated service answers stating you should leave a message. When once my call was answered, an East Indian customer service rep muddled me through. It is difficult to communicate issues and understand replies and the conversations are typically incredibly awkward ending in a way that leaves you confused if you got the answer you need or if you just got expertly deflected. I give the call center people a pass because it's not their fault that English isn't their native language but I don't give Beckett a pass because they need to hire people who can provide answers and solutions like a professional organization should. In the end, the service rep told me they would "email me the status of my order", which they didn't do. It's been 3 months for a ***** day service. I wonder if I'll ever see my cards again? I will never use Beckett again for grading. You definitely don't get what you pay for. Maybe not even your cards back! GRADE WITH PSA!
