      Good afternoon,

We acknowledge this is a past customer that we replaced the roof for.  However, we have explained to this person countless times that we installed a new roof to all local codes and to manufacturers specifications.  We have also informed this customer that they incurred another storm/wind event that caused the fascia of the roof in one section to be damaged causing the fascia/drip edge to separate from the uplift from the wind.  Additionally, this customer did not have any issues or leaks until 8 months after we did the roof replacement.  It wasn't until after 8 months did he notify us of the leaks.

We 100% stand behind our workmanship and 100% stand by our current assessment that the customer has incurred damage from another storm after we replaced the roof, and all damages are due to that.  We have also informed the customer that insurance companies don't want to pay out claims and they will point the finger at someone or something else rather then payout a claim.

Lastly, we have informed the customer that going forward all communications on this will need to be addressed with our attorney as our attorney has informed them that we are not negligent no responsible for his current issues with leaking.

How do you want us to respond to this?

      Thanks - *************************** **************

Additionally, in regard to DB3 allegations saying that a wind event caused shingles damage, the roof shingles are brand new roofing materials. The Heritage Pro life date states 160 mph, which would be considered a hurricane or any wind event over 74mph for that matter. No Hurricane in this area since Hurricane ***. No reports were found that a tornado occurred in this (my) area of The City of Kenner. ******, a representative of DB3 advised that he personally came to my home and repaired the facia upon my concern for the leaks. ****** also advised there were satellite holes. As previously outlined, DB3 Roofing continues to state that this was not a roofing installation issue from the roof that we installed over two years ago.  The homeowner had another storm that caused the fascia to break, crack and fall off and the leaks were happening from that.  We have provided pictures from the day of install we did and final pictures when we were done and there weren't any issues at that point.  In addition, we replaced numerous pieces of plywood decking that were bad during new roof install and the section the homeowner keeps referring to was perfectly fine during our install.  We have pictures and have supplied those pictures to all parties involved.  Lastly, we have agreed to pay homeowner invoice he has requested from another local roofer as it's more important to us that we resolve this.  As stated before, we don't accept responsibility for this issue and it's not related to any install we did.
