This is an issue of billing error on the part of Perfect Teeth that I have tried to resolve through phone calls for several months. I had dental work done by Perfect Teeth and Brident in January, 2024. The procedures were not covered by my insurance, so I paid at the time of the services in full. The accountants I speak to agree that I don't owe Perfect Teeth or Brident (their partner company) any money, but they can't resolve it and clear out my account....hence, the bill has been sent to a collections agency which now has sent me 5 letters over the past 3 months saying I have this debt...owing Perfect Teeth $892.89. My chief concern is that this will unfairly damage my credit.

For the last 18 months I have been receiving bills from Perfect Teeth to ensure that my insurance information was correct because of an outstanding bill. However, despite calling dozens of times & the operator ensuring me that I would receive a call back, Perfect Teeth has failed to follow up with me at all. I finally got through to them yesterday, 7/9, & turns out the bills that I have been receiving under their name have been from a different location. I wouldn't have known this without speaking to the ******* location of which my bill has been filed under. I also found out that they had been billing me for my ex-girlfriend's bill. I remember when I was a patient that they had incorrectly entered her as a ************* asked them to remove it. They had not as I was receiving her bills. Today, 7/10, I went in to speak with someone as I was struggling to get in touch with them after speaking with PT **************** over the phone. Understandably frustrated, I spoke with a young man to ask him to remove my ex-girlfriend from my account & to turn in a bill dispute that I was sent in the mail regarding the whole situation (it turned out to be that the specialty center incorrectly entered my insurance ID). He explained that he could remove her from my account, & when I asked him to just simply send me an email confirming that this was done so that I had it in writing, he became very angry with me & insulted me. I was upset, but I tried to explain a very serious situation & was met with hostility. Again, I have been trying to get into contact with the office for over 18 months. He then called me & threatened me in hushed tones to never come to the office again if I have a complaint & then told me he would call the police. He told me that he didn't care if this issue got settled or not. This is obviously frustrating because everything would have been fixed if they had answered the phone once within the last 18 months. I fear now that this issue won't get resolved.

I had a multi-step dental procedure in 10/2022. We discussed that they did a pre-auth on the procedure (in which insurance would pay 50% and I would pay the other 50%). I paid my 50% at the time of the first procedure. For the following procedure, they cancelled my appt day of with no notice. I went to the office 2x to reschedule as I was not able to contact them by phone and they were closed both times during normal business hours before I was finally able to get in contact with them to finish my crown procedure. The insurance denied the claim that Perfect Teeth said they got authorized and have been sending bills to me for the other half as well as sent me to collections for this issue. I have been in contact with them about this for which they continually say they are 'working on it' and have gotten no contact back for updates, even after being told their office admin would contact me. This has been almost two years and still dealing with these mailings, callings, and even harassment of family members as the collection agency they sent me to keeps calling them all due to this billing issue which was a direct problem of them not pre-authorizing the procedure they said they did. Have gone to the clinic numerous times, they have scanned documents that I have taken in to show, I have contacted my insurance, and only get 'our office admin will get back to you' with no actual follow up.

Short summary-The dental care itself wasn't bad. Billing department is either incompetent or fraudulently double dipping by taking insurance money and then claiming insurance was denied and billing customer as well. Then making it impossible to resolve these disputes. Long version-I confirmed my insurance (Sunlife) would provide coverage for this location beforehand. I left only paying a $40 copay and thought great! Two months later i get a bill for $228 claiming my insurance was denied. I called my insurance and they said my care was covered under capitation and that everything was paid for except my copay. I've called 4 times now with no response or any way to get a hold of billing. I finally get sent to a voice recording which told me to send an email to *********************************** I sent an email and got a notification that I got blocked! This issue is still unresolved and I'm lost trying to get a hold of someone that isn't their appointment scheduler. I dont want to unfairly pay a bill that was already covered by my insurance, and I also dont want them to send my bill to collections and have it ruin my perfect credit history.

Multiple counts of unprofessional/unethical behavior. I verified insurance when scheduling and was told there would be no out of pocket cost to me. On arrival for my appointment I was told they did not have record of the appt as it was scheduled by a 3rd party. As such, half the appt (x-rays/exam) would be completed and I would need to reschedule and return at a later date for the remaining cleaning. I did so.After the cleaning on the second date, I was told I owed money at that time and made a payment of $27 that I feel violates the No Surprises in Billing Act as I was told initially there would be no out of pocket cost and it would be fully covered by *****.The remaining amount due continues to be processed erroneously by *****, though it is no doubt to anyone it is their responsibility. They continue to deny the claim stating my policy is for pediatric only, when it clearly is not as I am an adult with no children and the policy is called "Pediatric Single 18+," which clearly covers all ages including both pediatric and adult. I have called ***** and confirmed this with them. They said they would reprocess the claim, however appear to continue to make the same error each time.Perfect Teeth ******* has sent numerous bills to me that 1) do not reflect payments made 2) show an increasing amount due over time (now $228; previously $151)3) show an increasing overdue time frame now stating the amount is over 90 days past due.I have attempted to contact them during business hours by phone 4 times since April. Each time it goes to the third party who apparently scheduled the appointment. Each time they tell me they are not able to resolve billing issues. I was able to connect with the office today and hung up on, and then only able to connect with the third party who said they can't help or pass on billing info back to the practice.

My kids received a routine teeth cleaning at perfect teeth for kids in centennial, Co. we have Aetna dental insurance and the receptionist is not doing her job with filing our simple claim. I have received over 20 Emails and bills for $1100 for there teeth cleanings which are covered through dental insurance. I have called several times to have this resolved. Receptionist keeps telling me not to pay and she will take care of the bill. For over 6 months I keep getting harassed. It is almost in collections now and going to ruin my credit. Every time I call the receptionist says she will take care of it and never does. Other locations wont help me either. I have made several calls to resolve this with no results. Please help me resolve this so I can get a different dentist that does their job correctly.

I paid for a crown in advance it was not able do be done. I asked for a refund several months ago many times! I believe that the first request was about December! I have talked to several employees at the office and they have sent requests to their higher *** with no resolution. I am a senior on a fixed income and this has gone far beyond the time I should have received my money back! I believe now they should be paying me interest on the amount of money they have held so long! Thank you for your help in this matter! Sincerely, ******************* P.s. the office staff agrees with me and told me they would contact someone for help. As they have already tried with no response.

Date of service: 12/22/22 Amount charged: unclear Business committed to provide: periodontal splint Dispute: periodontal splint fell off within two months; the periodontist who performed the procedure was no longer in the office to replace/fix, nor was there any other periodontist in the office or in the Perfect Teeth network who could/would replace it. I've been seeking a refund since Spring of 2023 as I paid soon after the date of service once my insurance claim was processed. Since this time, I've gotten bills for the service I had already paid, been told my balance was at zero only to be sent additional bills. I have called and emailed both the billing department and the Monaco and ***** office to which there has been no resolution or clarity around these additional bills or the refund. The last letter I received said this was their third attempt at contacting me, even though I have sought out resolution and received none.
