      The collar worked as described. I had an issue once where I zapped my dog on the high setting because it's adjusted in the app and not an adjustment on the collar and it didn't save my change. My big issue was with their customer service. I wanted to cancel the subscription, but the cancel button was greyed out on my account. Contacted customer service via email where someone clearly didn't read my issue and said to hit the cancel button in my account. I replied and someone else responded and told me to disconnect the collar in the app and the button would appear. Still no. The next customer support person said I would have to re-enter my credit card information (because my card had expired). I asked to please just cancel my account. They said I would have to call to be walked through the process. I called. The person could not cancel my subscription. I had to log in, update my credit card and could then cancel....myself. I asked if my last payment could be refunded due to the fact that I tried to cancel and couldn't......they said "no, all payments are final".

      I spent $747 on a halo collar series 2. Then they make you pay for an app monthly/yearly to actually use it and the collar didnt even work for my dog, it would go off inside the boundary area. I canceled the app the same month I got it. So after 2 years of it sitting on my shelf, I gave it to a friend to see if she could put it to use but once the collar is connected to one email, customer service cant do anything about that (because thats what they said). So I gave her my email and password (of my account that the ******************** was originally set up with, and she put her card info in) so she could use the collar and not only did she have to pay over $100 for yearly use but shes now having to request her money back because they want her to change her WiFi before the collar will even connect. This is not worth the money and what the site says it does and perceives it to be, is not accurate. It is not easy, and it is not accurate. I am highly disappointed with this product. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone.

      The collar was terribly unreliable - issued warnings when dog was inside the safe zone, and failed to warn the dog when it entered the warning zone. It even elevated to the shock state when the dog was only nearing the warning zone. Totally confused and scared the dog. Erratic behavior of the collar made it impossible to train the dog. Tried for a year to make it work and finally gave up. Unfortunately for my pocket book, Halo will bear no financial responsibility for the failure - won't even credit my 10 months of unused membership dues - don't agree to annual membership unless you're sure it works flawlessly for you and your dog. **************** seemed almost happy to cancel my account and leave me with a useless collar.

      Ordered a collar strap and didn't receive it so I contacted the halo customer support and they got right on it and found it had been lost in the mail. Sent me a new one and I got it in 3 days! They did very good.

      **** has great customer service. We purchased our ******************** and before we even received it in the mail it went on sale. I reached out to costumer service and ask if they could changed to the current price. I was told no because the charge had already been processed. BUT they could issue me a gift care for the difference. (I did have to followup with an email a couple days later reminding them of the plan but I received my gift card as soon as I followed up.)All in all great customer service.

      I I purchased a second collar at the same time I went to my account and added the second collar and was collar additional funds. I received a caller and added it upon adding it. It deleted my original collar. I I called Halo color dog park for assistance and they were unable to assist me because they said that my account was only for one collar. When in fact, I had placed the second collar into my account when I placed the order for the new collar. They wanted my shipping information which the caller was purchased in January and here we are in August and I did not have the shipping label. I offered up my receipt and a serial number and it could not get service on that collar.

      I purchased the collars in the beginning of July. I do not have trees in my backyard, so when my dogs were being corrected, but were nowhere near the fence line, I decided the collar was not going to be a good fit. I returned the collars after they had only been worn a couple times, so they were in perfect condition. The collars delivered back to halo on July 30th, and I still have not received my refund and no one will return my emails (I've emailed them multiple times). This is unacceptable. I would not recommend these collars.

      ******** Purchased 1 collar on February 26 2024, before purchasing the collar I had talked to a Halo tech regarding if tree foliage would interfere with the collar reception being we have a 2 1/2 acre wooded lot in front area of where the fence is located and quite a few trees on the sides of our home where the fence would be located, his answer was no not at all it will work.Okay we received the collar March 9th 2024 and started the training with the beacon immediately and also wasted many hours and many days watching several videos and walking fence perimeter with our Dog.Long story short this DOES NOT WORK around trees, our Springer Spaniel puppy constantly tore thru the fence, not only does it not work around trees there are areas in the open where we would get the audio 20 to 25' outside the fence line or sometimes 20' inside the fence line.After many (7) different calls to support with different settings adjustments I actually took the collar in my hand and walked the fence line myself and experienced it firsthand NOT WORKING at all.Now Finally we have called and asked for a refund and of course were denied,we were not only denied our $742.00 actual purchased we were also denied a refund on the monthly cost that we paid for yearly even though we are not or should I say cannot use the collar.This company is horrible to do business with per our last conversation to cancel today 8-12-24 we were told there have been numerous software revisions and we should continue trying , Sorry after 6 months of nothing but problems and much much wasted times we are finished, we were also told that we could sell the collar on e bay but being the honest people we are we will not pass the problem onto someone else.The only thing this collar is good for is finding your dog after he has fled your property.I would rate this company a minus 5 out of 10, do not waste your time or money on this product it does not work.

      I returned a Halo Collar that was accepted at the facility on 6/7/24. I still had not received a refund by 7/31/24. I called and, after 25 minutes on hold, was told that the situation would be "escalated" and I should wait for an email. I could not get any information as to whether or not there was a problem or when I might expect a refund. I asked to be transferred to the billing/finance department and was told that wasn't possible. Apparently, while they are happy to accept their customers' money, they cannot be bothered to actually speak to them. I called again several days later hoping I might speak with someone else who would be a little more helpful. Again, after more than 30 minutes on hold, I couldn't get any information and was told the situation would be "escalated" and I should wait for an email. The only advice I was given when I asked if there was another option rather than having to call again and wait on hold if I didn't hear anything was to try sending an email rather than calling.

      Very dissapointed that in just over a year of having the collar it starts to not work properly and I have tried to email and communicate with someone with no success! The collar shows the dog out of boundry area and starts to warn and buzz her to get back in when she is standing next to me in the house. I started working on this back in May of 2024 and have not had any success with anyone reaching back out to me. It amazes me that as soon as the warranty is up the collar starts to have problems. We live near a hwy and I need a collar that will keep her away from that road. We have her boundary set up to cover almost 10acres and for the first year it worked great. I have recommended the collar to others and am starting to regret that now since there is no support to get this resolved. Even right not as I type this the collar is sitting next to me and on my app it shows it over 200 yards away right on the border of the property. I am not sure what to do here and just want some help so I can use this. The purpose of this collar is to keep my dog safe and I feel back when it starts to go off and she is doing nothing wrong. I JUST NEED HELP!!!!
