Last year January my uncle recommed me to Light of hope Immigration law center. Where Me and my wife Acquire there Services, me and my wife was Charge 1800 dollar. On ferburay 25 i recived a mesage from ligh of hpe t that me and my wife should come to the office to descuss on my upcoming Interview with immigration. On february 27 me wife ****** at light hope immigration where we spoke with the lady in charge *****************; She spoke with us saying that our Immigration interview was march 12. I ask if ***************** was going to come with us During the interview, She said that no that she going to charge me to come with me and my wife to the interview. So i plaid a sum 353 dollars so she can come with us to the interview . on march 12 me and my wife arrived at Interview center wating for my lawyer but she never Showed up I tried reaching her but her Number was going to voicemail. I have to call my uncle to try and call the lawyer Office since she was not responding to my calls. Basically i am said that i paid a sum *********************** my interview she did not show on the day of interview . I want is the refund I am not saying I don't wanna services no more.Business response

Regarding Comsumer complaint #******** filed by *****************, as you have stated there are two sides to the story.
My client was advised to bring the required documentation to my office so that I may review it prior to attending an immigration interview at the ************ in ******, **. *****************, did not bring in the documents to our office as requested, instead he went to his interview without letting us know that he decided to proceed on his own.
After, the interview, he came to the office and requested a refund, to which he was I reminded him that it clearly states on the receipt that there are no refunds on our services, however, we did agree he would have a credit of $353.00 for future services here at Light of Hope.

On October 21, 2023, my wife ( ******************************** ) and I we went there to have an initial consultation, that we both paid $ 53 dollars each for that and which I understand that was talked to ***************************** ( rep for the business in question).While there at the consultation she told us, that in order to help us with our case we will have to pay $600 dollars each plus 3 dollars of convenience fees ( total $1,206 for both of us). Which I did use my credit card to paid for the service. On my way back home, I told my wife that this place was kind weird, most of the business charges for a service after they started to work on the paper work. After time passed by we couldnt gather the rest of the money we were asked to buy the money order to start over the process and after read all the bad reviews this business had I tried to call and ask her for the return of the $1,206 dollars I had paid in advance. I called, texted and email on November 16,17,18 her regarding my payment to be returned, but she never answered calls, text messages nor emails, so we think, why we need to stay with business or person that never answered. Luckily on day, I dont remember when I spoke with her receptionist, I ask to speak to *****************************, she told me that ****** was too busy, that she will call me later on, which she never did. After that I went in person, an other Glorias employee received, I ask her for my Money return , she told that the only person that can do that was ******, but again she wasnt there. I left and came back within a one or two or three weeks. I told the receptionist that I wanted to speak to ****** about my money to be returned, she told that in order to talk to her Ill have to paid $50 dollars. Which I didnt I just wanted got my money back and finished all business relationships with them. After waiting for more that one hr, I spoke to ******, which she denied to gave the money back, she instead gave an extension to keep continuing with the process.
