I hired Blue Square Logistics to transport and deliver a scissor lift from an auction house to my home. Blue Square subcontracted to 2 gentlemen and a flatbed truck with steep ramps. Blue Square was completely in charge of the logistics, and was aware there was no forklift at my residence. The delivery men were unable to drive the scissor lift down the ramps and it bottomed out at the edge of the truck & ramps. We called Blue Square for a resolution and they gave excuses saying there should have been a forklift despite that they took the job knowing that there was no forklift. I let her know I can only think of 2 options. Option 1: The drivers return the merchandise to the auction and Blue Square would not get paid Option 2: The drivers would go to a local rental facility to take the scissor lift off the truck and rent a low trailer to complete the delivery. The rental was $60 Blue Square had to verify with her manager, but the delivery drivers were running late to their next appointment because of the bad logistics. Blue Square called back and bold faced lied by saying a similar scissor lift was driven down a similar truck ramp the day before and therefore there was no need to pay the $60. I strongly say this is a LIE, because I witnessed the heroic efforts the two delivery drivers tried to make to get it down. The incline was roughly 45 degrees, too steep. They even tried using boards, and the ground incline to change the slope and complete the delivery safely without damage. There was zero way anyone could have done it safely. Blue Square Logistics clearly did not take care of the logistics. $76.83 (including tax) is what it cost to remedy and that's what I am asking for.Business response

Furthermore, the manager approved the forklift rental, however the drivers that were sub-contracted for this job, did not have the time to wait.
