I had my rotator cuff repair completed on 8/14/20. I used this company as they were an in network provider for my insurance plan. Several months after my surgery, the company reached out to me to tell me about a billing issue they were having with my insurance company. They said they the remaining amount was owed by me as my insurance company denied it as it was not billable by their contract. They are in network, and is why i chose them to do my surgery. They have repeatedly contacted me trying to collect the amount that the insurance company has told them is not billable per the contract. The surgery center has in their notes that I paid my deductible and hit my out of pocket max and no additional money is owed from me. My insurance company has informed them that I do not owe the money, yet they still keep contacting me as someone at the surgery center put the disputed amount into patient responsibility column for their book keeping.
