We started service with Modoma MedMassage on 2/16/2024 for my husband and I. Below are the times we had appointments and received services:2/16/2024- intake *************** to insurance $78.23 patient responsibility 2/16/2024- massage *************** to insurance $82.38 patient responsibility 2/16/2024- intake ******************* to insurance $78.23 patient responsibility 2/16/2024- massage ****** Billed to insurance $82.38 patient responsibility 2/22- ******************** not billed to insurance 2/29- ******************** not billed to insurance 3/1- JT massage Billed to insurance $0 patient responsibility Pre Paid $300 ******- Should only have been charged $160.61. Due a refund of $139.39.Pre Paid $385 ****- Should only have been charged $160.61. Due a refund of $224.39.We met our family deductible and have no out of pocket for doctor visits after 2/12/2024. Even thought claims from ****** from 2/22/2024 and 2/29/2024 were not submitted to my insurance I would not be responsible for the payment since my deductible has been met. If they still need to submit these to verify this I understand; however, I would request these are expedited due to the excessive amount of time that has passed since the visit. I reached out to their billing department prior to receiving notice they were suddenly closing and never heard back. The company reached out via text message on 3/8/2024 closing due to an emergency and on 3/10/2024 that they were no longer going to be open. In the message on 3/10/2024 they advised to email them with any questions at ******************************** I emailed on 3/27/2024 and again on 4/14/2024 and have not received a reply. I am looking to get a refund of the $363.78 my husband and I are due.Initial Complaint

I acquired the services of Modoma Health after I suffered two Hemorrhagic Stroke in 2020. I started to visit the office twice week for a few months in 2021 until it went to 2x a month in 2022. They signed me up for electronic payments of $24 per visit to pay for my health insurance copay. My last visit to Modoma was on April 6, 2022. However I was charged $24 on 4/13/22, 4/20/22, 4/27/22, 5/4/22, 5/11/22, 5/18/22, and 5/25/22 but I did not have any scheduled appointments nor did I visit the office for any services on the dates above. They also charged me $120 on 2/3/22 and $130 on 3/3/22 that they claim it was for my yearly insurance deductible of $1500. However my deductible was met on 1/17/2022. I contacted them in March about the charges in 2/22 and 3/22. I spoke with Jose that said that he would look at my account and call me back -but never did. Contacted them again in April and spoke to a lady by the name of Winter's and she said that she would be submitting a refund for the charge in February and march because the deductible was met in January. I still have not received that refund. I noticed in May that they were charging me weekly for the copay of $24. I contacted the office 4 times and spoke with Liana i believe is her name. She said each time that Ashley has the info and will be calling me. No one called me, I stopped by the office in May left another message with the front desk lady ******* still no call back. I called again on 7/10/22 and ones again they said that Ashley would call me but I am still waiting. I have had no luck getting my refund that should be in the amount of $378.
