      I purchased my Certified Pre-Owned 2018 Acura TLX A-Spec on 12/5/2020 at David McDavid Acura in Plano TX. I visited the dealership on 6/26/21 and 12/24/21 and informed them that my key fob was not being detected intermittently when attempting to unlock the door with my hand and here had been a few instances where I had tried to start the vehicle and the lights flicked and it wouldn't turn over. I was advised that based on the warranty "running out soon" and since the battery check passed, to return the car to the dealership in the near future so a more extensive check can be done. On 3/18/22 I visited dealer to have them perform the extensive check on the battery and electrical system. At that time, they determined the battery was failing and needed to be replaced. It was replaced that day under warranty. However, when I went to enter the vehicle the key fob entry would not work. Subsequently, it begins working on all the doors and the agent told me it may have been because the battery was just installed and assured me it wouldn't happen again. To date, the key fob entry continues to intermittently not work. On 10/22/22 I went to start my vehicle in my garage and found it would not start at all. The dashboard was flickering and giving several system failures before the braking system eventually locked up. Since the battery had been replaced just 7 months before, I didn't believe the failure was due to a bad battery, and contacted roadside assistance and scheduled for the vehicle to be towed to the dealership. a battery test was run and the battery was found to be faulty and needing replacement. The dealership says because the new battery that was installed 7 months ago was a warranty replacement that I would have to pay $300 for a new battery. To leave with my car that day I paid but the dealership never did a full extensive check and refuse to refund me my money for the battery. I emailed the service manager on 10/22 and to date received no response.

      I purchased a 2022 Acura MDX from David McDavid Acura Plano June 25, 2022. The dealership collected sales tax and fees for plates and said they take care of everything. My temporary tag expired August 24, 2022 and I still do not have a tag or taxes paid. I provided the needed documentation at the time of purchase and again 10 days ago by email. I have not received a response from anyone.

In addition, on 10/31/22, we offered to get Mr. **** a temporary tag but needed his current proof of insurance listing this vehicle and a copy of his declaration page showing his coverage limits. We still have not received those documents. Without them, I cannot get another temp tag. We did however, receive proof of residence on 10/31 and got the paperwork sent out to the DMV on 11/1. Shelby county is taking about 4 months to process. If customer would like to go into the DMV to get it completed faster, he can.       I got a quote from David McDavid Acura in Plano Texas on an Acura Tlx 2018 in which I was trying to purchase. The quote dated 6.3.2022 & 6.4.2022 has the sales tax calculated from the trade difference on the car I was trading in. I live in Arkansas so all was good to go, I traveled to Texas on Friday to be there Saturday Morning 6/4/2022. The finance man (Nish Desai) had calculated the tax over $600 dollars more than the quote was for. He advised me that was what the computer stated & that I had to pay that amount, also he told I had pay taxes on the balance from the car I was trading in. I tried to explain that was not correct- but he would not listen. Therefore I was overcharged by $604.07 for taxes. Today 6.9.2022 I called the finance man Nish Desai to get a copy of the quote where he had figured the tax wrong & he emailed me the wrong piece of paper-which had a strange charge on it of $577.00 for a replacement key. So I called him to ask what this was for - as I got 2 keys with the Acura- he said Oh yes we noticed that the Ipad made an error. I am wandering if I hadn't noticed that if I was going to be informed of that overcharge as well. So now I am at $1,181.07 in overcharges. Also this is financed & costing me finance charges as well. (according to them they are wanting to send the money to the finance company- but I want the Finance contract totally redone since there a so many mistakes- I think it is only fair to me. I had put trust in this Dealer as you see I drove over 7 hours & several hundred miles to get there. I don't feel like I was treated fair by this Dealer at all. I am also wandering if this is a scam or fraudulent charges or how many customers have they done this way that have not noticed these charges & have paid them. Very Unhappy Customer, Jo ********

They have agreed to send me a spare tire and kit as I asked for this, for all the trouble I have had. So far I have not received it.       I had purchased a Lincoln MKC from David McDavid of Plano dealership, back in November 2020. I met with Rafe (Financial Manager) to go over the financing we had discussed and possibly purchasing a warranty to cover the vehicle. Based on our conversation, my wife and I decided to purchase the Gold Package. The reason for this as explained by Rafe, is it'll essentially cover everything in the vehicle with the exception of wear and tear items. Shortly thereafter I was having issues with my vehicle. My side mirrors weren't working and I was having an issue with the engine in which the car repair shop recommended a replacement part. I gave them the car warranty contact information and details. The car warranty company indicated those issues are not covered under warranty. I asked why since I purchased the warranty for covering these types of issues. They indicated there was nothing they can do about what we the customers are told by anyone at the dealership. I officially canceled my car warranty 7/7/21. I was reimbursed the difference that I was owed. I went back to David McDavid to make me whole and reimburse me the difference which I wasn't reimbursed by the Warranty Company (Under $1K). I asked for this due to selling me a product under pretenses which ended up not being true. I've had to physically go to the dealership multiple times (7/7/21, 8/20/21, 1/5/22) in person since I haven't been receiving call backs from the Sales Manager or Rafe. Also Rafe had stopped replying to my emails as well. I physically went to the dealership once again on 1/5/22 to meet with the Sales Manager however he wasn't in. I spoke with Rafe once again. He indicated that there was nothing he can do, although he had stated back on 8/23 that he would send my concern up to corporate.

The customer's loan was then reimbursed the prorated amount for canceling the service contract. Thank you. The team ad David McDavid Acura Plano did offer to provide an upgrade, however the reason I declined was due to my experience with the Gold package. When I contacted the Car Warranty regarding the initial issue, I gave them the car warranty contact information and warranty details. The car warranty company indicated those issues are not covered under warranty, even though I was informed in person that these type of issues would be covered within the Gold package as per my conversation with the Financial Manager at David McDavid Acura Plano. I asked the warranty company why my concerns wouldn't be covered since the purpose of purchasing the warranty was specifically to cover these types of issues. The warranty company indicated there was nothing as they cannot be held responsible by what we the customers are told by anyone at the dealership. Due to purchasing the Gold package was under false/incorrect information being given to me by David McDavid Acura Plano employees, according to the warranty company, I felt compelled to decline an "upgrade". Also, the lack of follow through and communication by David McDavid Acura Plano which I also included in my initial complaint was not addressed as well. I had to physically to the center multiple times just so I can have someone give me updates as to where my request was since I was not getting call backs and responses.

      I purchased a Certified Pre owned vehicle from David Mcdavid Plano dealership on OCT 29th. Total price I paid was $28,500 (this could be slightly different). Initially the car drove fine to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Except few issues like alignment and car shaking at higher speeds. Here are list of issues which became more prominent first week -Startup noise -fuel pump shut off noise (when turning off the car) - Car shaking on high at higher speeds -Alignment became worst pulling towards right. Took me almost 3 to 4 weeks to get hold of someone. i was told that they won't do anything about alignment at all. I got the tire balanced which helped with shaking a bit but it still has other suspension problems. Fast forward a month. Now the Car has Transmission issues and it is actually in the shop now. Not derivable at all. Here is a list of updated issues. -Startup noise -fuel pump shut off noise (when turning off the car) - Car shaking on high at higher speeds -Alignment became worst pulling towards right. - Transmission issues -Rough idle -Suspension issues (will get more details on this from the mechanic)

He offered to fix everything wrong with the vehicle and explained that it would all be covered under the CPO warranty. Meaning no out of pocket cost to the customer. The was only one exception which would be the alignment because the customer had already been driving for two months. Mr ***** did not want to bring the vehicle back to us because it was too far, so we explained to him that the work could be done at ANY Acura store. We even offered to buy the vehicle back from him at that time ,in which he told us he would think about. Since that conversation we had not heard from the customer until this complaint was received. The reason it took me 2 months to get hold of the dealership was because initially I didn't drive the car very much to notice the major issues. Once I did I attempted to make contact which took me a good month to get hold of someone there after leaving various Voicemails and messages. I even had hard time getting a good answer from someone there regarding when and how I will get my license plate (which showed up in mail so all is good there). I have also been trying to get hold of someone there again for 3 weeks now but no calls back, return of email or return of text message from my sales rep (initial contact was via text so it is a valid number). If someone could return my call or even email I wouldn't have need to make contact via BBB. So what is the solution too all this? - Still have alignment issues after paying for alignment at Post Oak Acura here in Tulsa. -Also paid for Car loosing acceleration/ poor acceleration. They had to clean some manifold part out. - Dealership also attempted a fix for jerky transmission which helped some but it is still doing it often. Also have issues with suspension but I have not even gotten resolution for initial issues. Already spent around $400 for repairs so far. Trying to make another appointment to get alignment fixed because in order to drive the car straight you have to keep steering wheel little sideways. Total of 3 trips to dealership and more to come from what it looks like.

      This company is being very shady and use the same practices as people selling stolen cars. 12 months ago I purchased a vehicle for almost $13,000 (thirteen thousand) and it was fine. After my temp plates were up, they told me they still didn't have a title so it would be another set of temp plates. This seemed normal because they blamed it on corona and we were still catching up from it in Texas, no big deal. Another 2 months passed and they still did not have my title, so they gave me faulty temp plates. It was a "dealers tag" which is illegal for citizens to use. I got pulled over and received a $200 ticket from an officer. He said this is what shady dealerships do to coverup stolen vehicles, but he verified mine was legal. The dealership made no effort whatsoever to pay for this ticket. I contacted their sales managers, GM, and still nobody is responding about my license plate or the ticket. My Dad has also tried but they ignore him too. Finally about 9 months after my purchase, they told me they got my title, but I needed to get another inspection before they could file my tags. So I drove 45 minutes and gave them another $150 and they said they would have it ready in a week. It has been another 3 weeks and still no license plates. I think this is extremely shady and they may be doing illegal stuff behind doors. Even if they're not doing illegal things, they are being extra shady.

      I purchased a used car from them on August 7 2021 and have yet to get my title work here in Arkansas I have 30 days to file used car paperwork and I am subject to a tax penalty bc I'm am late I also opted to pay sales tax at the dealership and they also did not get the correct used car tax percentage in my state...I called them several times with no call back finally I called and asked for a manager and he said they would supposedly pay the difference since they did the math wrong and that they were behind on paperwork...it has now been well over 2 months and still no paperwork..I beginning to believe they have sold me a car without having legitimate title??? I've purchased many vehicles before and I've never had this type of poor service.

      Purchased a new 2021 RDX from David McDavid Acura Plano on 10/9/21 with the drive out price of $48,700. While in the finance dept we down $5000 and agree to finance the rest which was $43,700. While processing our financing they added an additional $1297.42 in which $1224 was a hidden "add-on" added without our knowledge. Spoke to the finance director on 10/13/21 regarding this matter which he agree to removed and remit the $1224 add-on, but the conversation doesn't sound promising. There is still $73.42 over the correct financing amount that has yet to be explain/corrected. Before leaving the dealer on the day or purchase our sale advisor informed us that our weather mats is still missing due to the parts dept has close for the evening. From Oct 12-14 I did follow up calls with our sale advisor regarding our weather mats. They even promise to deliver them personally to me, but nothing was ever brought out. Emailed the dealer GM on 10/15/21 but has yet to hear back from him.

      I went to David McDavid Acura Plano on July 21 2021 to have a look at the new 2022 MDX and since the color and model that I wanted was not available i ended up ordering. They requested a $1000 deposit which i paid with my credit card. Its been about 1 1/2 month since and due to some unfortunate turn of events I am having to cancel the order. I have called the sales person (Nam Yen Nguyen) to explain my current situation and having to cancel the order. He mentioned that he would talk to his manager and arrange the cancellation and refund of the $1000. Since that call I have tried to call multiple times and my calls always go to voicemail and have left multiple voicemails and text messages and no response. I have also call the main number and spoke front desk and they informed they would contact the manager and provide an update. No one returns my call. All I am requesting is to cancel my order and refund my $1000 which i paid at the time of ordering the car.
