On the day of April 16,2022 we got our dog Levi cut at the groomers we picked him up hours later and was told that he did good and nothing went wrong on Tuesday April 19 2022 our dog was whining and limping so I pick him up and examined him and we noticed scratches under his front legs they are very redBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2022/05/20) */ After receiving complaint from BBB we reached out to the client personally regarding the matter stated. We where surprised to see the complaint since we had not heard from them or heard about complaint from them. The client was satisfied with our reaching out and was informed that it could be solved and refunded if needed be. Client informed the complaint would be taken down as it was satisfied with our reaching out personally. Grooming does run the risk of scratching and shaffing due to the blades being sharp objects. In the case this happens, we advise the owner to take the dog to the Vet to have assesed by a professional and in the cases where it needs further treatment we can cover the cost if need be. The grooming process for this particular client was done correctly and later found to have had shaffing. We would like to extend our communication to the owner and have them reach out to us personally to resolve the matter.Initial Complaint

I paid for a complete bath and groom, including luxe hair grooming, ear cleaning and plucking and nail trimming. Instead of the luxe groom hair cut they shaved the dog & told me they could not clean her ears due to infection. I rushed her to the vet - to have the vet confirm there is zero infection in her ears but that they obviously had not been plucked in months (my dog visits this groomer monthly for the last 5 months). I called to inform the owner & was told that he refused to pluck the dogs ears & complete the job and he also refuses to provide any sort of refund.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2021/10/31) */ Customer was informed at drop off that dog was matted and would need to be trimmed shorter. Company policy is putting the dogs suffering and pain first. This includes pulling on matts and ear canal hair. This can be avoided by the customers care at home. The status of the dogs hair matts are evaluated by the professional groomer and then recommend to remove by cutting underneath them instead of pulling on the dogs skin so that the dog does not suffer pain and or becomes aggressive to the groomer. This particular customer was informed of the status of the dog. The customer paid for the full package and the full package was delivered. We are very sorry we didn't meet her expectations in this last groom but we did perform everything as stated. Customer has previously been reimbursed for a similar incident in which she was not satisfied and had a complaint. We refunded her fully and she did complain once again expecting a full refund for the second time. We urge her to find another shop that can accommodate her needs, preferably with a Veterinary on staff in case the dog has problems in the ear and can tend to them immediately. We are not Veterinary doctors. We communicate to our customers if we see or smell something odd in the ear canal. We cleaned them with a professional ear cleaner and recommended that she take the dog to a Veterinary to a closer look.
