On August 6th, a tenant living at ******************** reported on a back up issue at the property. Staggs Plumbing was called to diagnose the situation, where a former employee then misdiagnosed that the entire sewer line needed to be replaced in the backyard. In fact, this line had already been previously replaced and consisted already of PVC piping. On August 12th, an employee of Randy Staggs plumbing came to *********************************** in ************** and replaced PVC piping that did not need to be replaced billing me (the owner) $5,500, which I paid in full. A few weeks later, the same issue of back up occurs again and I call Staggs asking them to ask how this is still occurring. They state the employee that originally diagnosed the issue is no longer with the company but said it could be multiple issues. I then call another plumber that had previously looked at the same issue who then informed me the piping in the backyard had already been replaced and it was not the issue. I then had the original plumber come out to fix the problem which costs me an additional $5,000.

      Dear **********

We appreciate your feedback regarding the plumbing issue at your property and would like to address your concerns comprehensively. We sincerely apologize for any confusion and inconvenience you may have experienced.

Upon review the details of the situation, we would like to provide clarity on the actions taken during our initial visit to your property on August 12th:

Replacement of *** Piping/Sewer Repair: ************** replaced the *** piping in response to the reported backup issue. The initial assessment was based on the information available at that time We appreciate your understanding that our intention was to resolve the issue promptly and effectively.

City Inspection: Its important to note that the *** piping replacement was done with full adherence to legal and regulatory standards. The replaced *** piping followed all relevant codes and regulations.Furthermore, we ensured that the word was inspected and approved by the city authorities, confirming its legality and appropriateness.
Subsequent Issue: We apologize for the recurrence of the backup issue a few weeks later. However, we would like to clarify that this subsequent issue appears to have been unrelated to the sewer repair we provided. Our team conducted a thorough review of the situation, and it was determined that the issue did not stem from the work we had performed but was located under the main structure of the property.
We deeply regret any inconvenience you encountered as a result of this situation. It is our goal to deliver accurate diagnoses and effective solutions, and we acknowledge that this instance fell short of your expectations.

In light of the circumstances, we would like to offer our assistance in any way possible. We understand the frustration of incurring additional costs, and while the subsequent issue was not within our control, we are open to discussing potential accommodation to address your concerns.

Please feel free to reach out us at ************ so that we can discuss the matter further and explore potential solutions. Your satisfaction is of utmost importance to us, and we are committed to working towards a resolution that meets your expectations.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, and we appreciate your understanding as we strive to improve our services and rectify and shortcomings.
