January of 2021, we signed a contract with Scott H****** with Elite Pools to build our pool in our brand new house. Digging started mid March and things were going kinda slow but moving. Scott was always quick to request payment and we always paid that same day. We got our plumbing done about 6 weeks later and this is when the trouble started. Gunite was next and we were waiting almost 3 months for gunite. I finally called the gunite company myself and they said sure we can do it next week. Scott was simply not wanting to schedule the job bc he didn't have the money to pay them. It's now June and our pool isn't even 1/2 way done and Scott is saying he is turning the project over to his coping subcontractor from here out. The next 2 months all we had done was tile around the top of the pool and coping. 1 month later a rock waterfall was built. In between all these delays Scott would never respond. We were sending texts and calling every week and hearing every excuse under the Sun. Finally the subcontractor who took over told us they couldn't keep going bc Scott had stopped paying them for their work! September I finally get in touch with Scott himself and ask what he's planning to do? Scott said we can start decking but I need payment up front. I told Scott absolutely not! At that point we would be 95% paid in full and still don't have any equipment, no electrical to the equipment, no plastering, slide not installed, sod not replaced, backyard is still a trash dump, and pool setup, fill, and startup not done. We are now upside down and forced to find someone else to finish the pool costing us more money. Now we find out Scott had filled Bankruptcy yet again as he signs contracts with people and gets paid the large % payments in the beginning and then slows down on the work as the payment amounts get less. He's scamming people and bankruptcy shouldn't be a reason to not be responsible for this! It's a crime! Will be seeking more from an attorney!

Signed an agreement with Scott H****** / Elite Pools on March 2, 2021 and paid deposit. Made 3 additional payments per the project agreement totaling $89k. Received an email saying the company is bankrupt and I can pay his subcontractors directly to complete the project. He did not perform $89k worth of work and the work that he did perform is of inferior quality. I am aware of at least a dozen others left in the same spot by Scott. Total scam and Scott should be in jail.

On March 13, 2021, I paid Elite Pools/***** two payments for a total of $9897 as per the contract. An average job of this size takes about 2-3 months. COVID being a factor and delays in procuring items, I have been very patient with ***** and his team. However, ***** turned out to be a conman who dubbed many people in the Texas area and has take money claiming he is working with his suppliers and vendors. After waiting for months and finally speaking with his suppliers and vendors along with his crew, all claimed that ***** either does NOT pay them or has never setup service. Result, after 7months I have an abandoned backyard with dirt and trash all over. In 7 months, ***** has only called me once and when I do a simple google search there are plenty of court cases against him. His own crew told me that he does not pay them and they stopped working. ***** does not respond to calls or text messages. All his reviews are fake and pics on the website false. See attached documents as proof.

See pictures attached MR ****** IS A CROOK
