PYSA runs a 500 team soccer tournament. Our team , 31 families, paid for this tournament and were put in the wrong bracket. When we contacted Plano they refused to respond for 4 days. They then refused to refund our money and are forcing us to come to the tournament, this is costing our families over $10000 in travel and tournament expenses. Never seen someone force a team to come to a tournament .Business response

We have all the emails and documentation regarding all his concerns and complaints.
Mr. **** references wrong placement however, his team placement was in line with how they registered. They registered U12 9v9 they were placed U12 9v9, they requested Level 5 Gold, they were placed in the Gold. With over 500 teams, we rely on their selection to establish brackets. Mr. **** and his manager would have received an email once they completed the registration recapping/showing exactly what age group and division they registered for. As well, they have access in gotsport to their registration to refer to and see what they selected. Prior to the release of the schedule they never indicated they wanted to be in the U13 age group where they could play 11v11. (Attached is the confirmation email received after registration)
4 day delay in responding- This is incorrect, he emailed at 4:31pm on Saturday, 8/26 to *** and *** forwarded the message to the office Sunday 8/27 at 12:47pm, which ******** in our office responded to Mr. **** Monday 8/28 at 6:54am. Mr. ***** manager, Master ****** sent an email around 9:00pm on Friday evening saying they were in the wrong division, he received a reply Saturday morning. Our brackets/seeding was set, the schedule had been released. Both divisions were set at 52 and 40, with no one to add in or replace them. (Attached are emailing showing that responses were made in a timely manner)
Per our rules, a team withdrawing after the registration deadline will not be offered a refund. The tournament rules are posted on the website, clearly displaced for all to see. (Please see attached)
***** did not notify the tournament he was withdrawing from the tournament. In fact, while he continued to email NTSSA neither *** (the Tournament Director) or I was informed. I was forwarded an email where he stated he was withdrawing so I reached out to him Thursday afternoon where he confirmed he was.
He references $10,000 of money wasted, however they never purchased the ********* tickets and we have confirmed with Events by Design that their hotel reservations were also cancelled.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: Plano is lying. We notified Plano 8 minutes after were notified the bracket was wrong this was on Friday Aug 25. We have emails to back this up. Plano waited 4 days to respond to our email and said they refused to do anything because they dont work weekends. They refused to refund us the $1800 we paid for the tournament. We told them all week long we were not coming they refused to respond to that. The $10000 in question was not for tickets , they dont seem to get that for 39 families to make a trip it costs $10,000 in hotel and gas and food. Luckily we are not out $$8000 because we did not make the trip. We are out $1800, this was also explained to them. They refuse to listen or respond. Plano then attacked the boys by intentionally lowering their ranking (retaliation for complaining is what USYS said they were doing) by giving our teams forfeits even though they knew for a week we werent going. They attacked children , which is crazy for a Youth Soccer association. They stole money from children.
