I first dropped my cat off on 10/13/23 for a constipation issue. ***** has previously been to this clinic since 2011, as he was my Aunts pet previously. I recently took him on after my aunt passed from cancer. I was told they would do blood work and have him on an IV for fluids. I was informed his blood work came back normal. They informed me Id need to change his diet a little to bulk him up. They wanted to keep him overnight, possibly into sunday (10/14/23) or even into Monday (to go home first thing)(10/16/23). I came in first thing Monday as told but had to wait 45 minutes to even hear from the doctor over the phone when he called the clinic. When I spoke with him Monday he informed me my cat had stones in his bladder and needed to stay longer. I was not informed of this information and was told to come back later. I got a call at work around 2pm and was informed they mixed up ***** (my cat) with another cat. I was quoted around $850. When I got there Monday (10/16/23) evening to pick him up, they informed me it would be over $1,500. I mentioned it and **************** said hed split the difference. My cat was in the hospital for 3 extra days. This caused emotional distress on me and my cat. This is extremely unprofessional and could be considered fraud with potentially unnecessary tests being performed due to confusion of my cats identity. This could have been much more serious and detrimental. I consider myself lucky to have my cat home safe, after I mistook this animal hospital as a trusted and well practiced entity, which I wont anymore. I advise everyone else to do the same. From start to finish, my experience here has been very unprofessional and I am in disbelief at the incompetence displayed by ****************.
