Texas star propane was the installer of my propane tank, after install we noticed a ordo from tank of propane leakage- we had them back out and they said it was a slows leak that could be fixed till tank ran empty. Well that happened 3/27/2023 i called and was told they would come to check the tank to ensure it was in fact empty - then replace broken leaking fill valve and would replenish tank with propane. I received no call the driver just showed up and wen to tank replaced the valve and FILLED a 250 gallon tank to 225 gal of propane (which per the website says a 250 gal tank can only be filled to 200gal) and then charged me for a complete tank fill.. when I called and questioned the bill and fill amount - which I was never told a gall fee or tank fill pricing- I was told that's the bill and i have 30 days to pay it. I called back and asked for a manager -******- says that I was told the day before all those details I WAS NEVER and I told her that she argues with me that I must have just misunderstood yesterday. And that in different seasons you get different fills- this was my first fill since purchase last summer I had no idea the seasons influenced a fill of tank gallons nor did i have any idea the pricing I would be charged. I told her I cant afford a 700 dollar surprise bill and she kept on with the "you were told it would be filled" Never have I ever been so shocked to get a surprise large bill and no explanation of pricing or estimate of charges for the services.
