Unfortunately, after some research, we discovered the inspector had inadvertently typed in the wrong City into their system. After we figured out what happened, we contacted the State Inspector, he messaged ** and said he had made the correction.  As of today, it is showing "Certified". Please accept my apology for any inconvenience or confusion this has caused. Please let me know if we can assist any further.

Back in Jan 2021, I spoke with the owner personally to repair my roof and 1 window. He agreed. My roof was done the workers left tire tracks in my yard and broke the waterline. Tire tracks are still there. The owner said he would get some dirt spread to fill them in and nothing. I told him I was going to pay him in full for the window when he was done. I let him know they both had to be fixed by the deadline or my homeowner's policy would be canceled. He said he would have it fixed before then. I have been overly patient and understanding knowing that I am not the only customer. A whole year waiting on a window that was supposedly on backorder back in Aug 2021. No updates no nothing as if I don't exist and my window project he agreed to do means nothing this is not business-like at all. I have to constantly reach out to him to get updates and then in Nov 2021 he begin to ignore me hoping I would find someone else. My insurance got canceled due to repairs not being completed by the deadline given to me. The owner knew this and he still just went on about his life as if it didn’t matter to him at all and it showed. I have been waiting patiently and getting the run around on the status of the window. The owner told me he ordered it and it has been on backorder for months. Then I am being told his supplier can't get the window. Then I got a story that another guy name ***** was supposed to order it. Now the owner tells me I can buy the window myself he will show me where to get it and he will install it and repair my damaged siding. I constantly asked him and was looking around myself for the window to see who had it. I didn’t know the exact size but I was going to find who had it. Now all of a sudden he wants me to buy it when I could have brought it months ago to avoid my insurance from being canceled. I even told him which stores had it he said he would check into it. Not business-like at all and still no window size or update or anything. This is very disappointing.

Navigating home repairs after a significant storm event has caused damage to your home can be stressful and frustrating.  Even more so, when Insurance Companies, and Mortgage companies are playing a key role with underwriting and distributing funds to the contractor performing services. A signed, contractual document, with a clear understanding of the scope of work is a fundamental, yet critical aspect that must be in place before work begins. It provides protection and clarity for both the homeowner and the contractor. Roofing911 has been instrumental in helping thousands of clients through the claims process. We don’t get mad or angry; we try to be patient and understanding when things don’t go as planned.

I was contacted via text message by the sister of one of my employee’s, ******* ********, requesting a quote to replace the roof. I stopped in on Saturday, 12/26/20, to inspect the roof and provide a free quote.  It was during this time the client informed me that she did not have the funds to replace the roof.

The client also informed me that the insurance policy had been cancelled and the mortgage company was demanding the roof work be completed. We fast-tracked our roof building schedule to accommodate the issues with the insurance/mortgage company so that an insurance policy could be reestablished.

At no time during this conversation did we discuss any window work nor did I inspect the windows. I didn’t include any window work in the contract or quote a price for any window work. As well, at this time Roofing911 does not provide financing. However, because it was one of my employee’s family members, I made an exception and financed the roof to help with this unique situation. I have a text message to corroborate everything I’m saying is true.

It was a few days later that she sent me a text and said that she saw on our website that we also did windows. She also mentioned in this text that she was waiting on another company to provide a quote. Again, there was nothing we talked about, implied or written down about performing any work on the window. Since that time her brother ******* has tried to help her with replacing the window to help reduce the cost and save her some money. Roofing911 could have certainly performed the window work; however, it is company policy that we have a signed written agreement in place before any work begins. If there was a signed contract, she would have certainly incurred more cost as opposed to her brother doing the window work.

The day we began the roof work, our supplier's truck made tracks in the yard and broke a pvc plastic water line. We immediately called a licensed plumber and had the water line repaired. Her brother ******* has since repaired the tire tracks. ******* has also delivered 2 different windows and she refused service for both of those windows. Brother ******* has also tried to reinstall the siding and the trim that he removed initially to replace the window and she has refused.

After the initial BBB complaint, in an effort to resolve the desired settlement, I suggested that she meet up with her brother *******, so that she can purchase the window of her choice and he can perform the install. I have text messages that show she agreed with that. She has also communicated to ******* that she has another contractor to do this work. To this day she refuses to meet him to purchase the window, she refuses to let him reinstall the trim and she has not paid him for any of his work. I recommend the client hire a contractor she trusts, or purchase the window and allow Brother ******* to finish the work.

I am rejecting this response. We discussed this window at time I paid the roof off. I have all text messages between this company and I about repairs to the window. His employee damaged my window seal by cutting it when trying to replace the window. Bring me all the replacement parts that I will need to fix inside of my window your employee cut along with siding trim and match my paint color to my siding they damaged and I can have the window done. I should not have to pay for damage they caused trying to put in a window and now decides to not want to deal with it.

I been down with serious health concern and this is what I get. Owner says I refused to let Brother ******* install the window which is a lie. I have been under the weather and still sick with a blood clot in my leg. I have not spoken to anyone about this window. I told them when I get my money for the window I will let them know. So if they want to fix this window then go ahead. The money I had to fix this window went to purchase more insurance when I got cancelled when they did not fix the window in the time frame the Mortgage company told me to have it fixed. I am no longer fussing anymore or going around and around about this window fix it whatever way you want long as it gets fixed. I am done.

BBB requested copy of contract including the window repairs.  Below is the response.

No Owner did not write it up he gave me price in person and at his place of business. We have all ready discussed they will be fixing it. They started repairs all ready on my window back in March last year but never completed it. The agreement now as I am told is they will be finishing the repairs they started. I was just responding back as asked.

The consumer is correct in her statement, "The agreement now as I am told is they will be finishing the work they started."
