      I received a letter from Denton Creek investments on December 16, 2022 reference number ********* offering to buy my mineral and royalty in Taylor county Texas. I completed the paperwork signed the draft for $2000 and mailed back to them. on January 23, 2023. I received a letter and a check for $2000 completing the transfer of my mineral interest on January 27 I received a notice from my bank that the check for $2000 had a stop payment on it. This company is obviously a scam and is trying to screw me out of my mineral rights again. The reference number of Denton Creek investments was access an x-ray ******** in Mineral in royalty conveyance, add Taylor county Texas. I have attempted to contact this business near the phone numbers listed on the correspondence, and there is no answer or the numbers have been disconnected.

So I really do not understand her complaint. Theresa B Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2023/01/31) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The check was sent back as a stop payment Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2023/02/02) */ After further research - ***** ***** had tried selling oil & gas minerals she does not own. After payment was made - a stop payment was made - due to the fact she assigned her minerals prior to purchase. Therefore, she doe NOT own the minerals nor had the right to sell. If you would like I can scan and forward you the document that she had previously conveyed the interest we were offering to purchase. This is a fraudulent act on ***** *****. Consumer Response /* (2000, 12, 2023/02/03) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) Response accepted but this company should have reached out to me first.
