      Their fiber internet service was fine, only had an outage once during the big Texas freeze in February of 2021. What I do have a problem with is the nickel and diming they've done AFTER I cancelled service because of moving. The month after I canceled their service, they charged me around $40+ dollars because of allegedly being unable to cancel service right on the dot of when I returned their equipment. Fine, whatever, I was assured by the customer service agent that would be the end of it. Fast forward to almost half a year later and they're charging me around $30 for undisclosed reasons. "Your account is over 60 days past due. Please pay this amount to promptly to avoid further action taken." Two questions. Why am I being charged? And more importantly, WHY AM I BEING CHARGED FIVE MONTHS AFTER CANCELLING MY SERVICE WITH THEM? Why am I being threatened with collections over $30? If you have any other options in the Jourdanton-Pleasanton area, of which there are very few to be certain, go with them.

      Thank you for your review. I would like to take this opportunity to explain the questionable charges to your account. On September 29, 2021, a request was received by Mr. Jarvis to disconnect services effective September 30, 2021. The disconnect order was processed effective the day of his request. Mr. Jarvis’s account is billing one month in advance with billing service being the 15th - 14th of the each month. When the disconnect request was received account was 15 days into the billing cycle. Because Mr. Jarvis was receiving a $25 monthly credit on his account and disconnected 15 days into his cycle the account was not entitle to the full credit amount. VTX1 companies bills one month in advance for all services. Services and credits are prorated. The $27.48 was due for services rendered from September 15, 2021 to September 29, 2021. We would have been happy to assist you, if given the opportunity to make this right.

      This has been a very good option for rural internet. Satellite internet may be faster but the reduced ping more than makes up. Prices are a bit steep for the speeds but this is the best unlimited full speed data plan for my rural area. The internet connection is reliable most of the time and under most weather conditions. When problems arise they have been fast to answer customer support and solve the issue.

      ***** ******** a VTX1 company Services the Karnes City Area from The Karnes City Tower # 2 located on HWY 99 just outside of Karnes City. They have been working on this tower for months if not for years by the way their service appears. I have called multiply times each week only to get the same excuses "equipment problems". I have been on this system for eight year but the last three months seem to be the worst of ALL. Outages and slow downs throughout the day only to get worse during 7 - 11 pm. If there was a score less than 1 you would get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FED UP!!!!

      After this post they came out installed new equipment and placed me on a different tower and reception has improved.
