My fur daughter, ****, went to the vet on 5/18 and received routine shots & was given a clean bill of health prior to dropping her off at The ***** Wag Hotel on 5/21/24. When I picked her up on Friday 5/24, to my surprise, she was and still is covered in some type of bug bites/or flea bites from her head to her bottom, including her private area! I was sent several ****************** over the duration of her stay and not once received any information of her having fleas until I picked her up on Friday! Completely Unacceptable! I would have removed her immediately, especially when *** had her for 2 years and shes never had fleas until visiting the hotel! When questioning the facility, I was told she had them before she got there! Really!? False information. So that tells me, no one is checking the visitors as they come in for fleas, etc? Thats a terrible business practice! Even when I called to check on her, prior to pick-up, on 5/22, they failed to mention fleas. They told me she was doing great! I will now spend even more money taking her to the vet on Tuesday for a check up to make sure she has no disease or other problems since being in their care or no care at all I should say. **** deserved way better than what this ***** motel gave her! I even still paid $299 when I was told the total was $185! I am infuriated and feel myself and **** were swindled by the Wag Hotel!
