On June 3, 2021 I, **** ******, signed a contract with Green Leaf Air (Lic. #***********) to install a new HVAC System (air conditioning and heat pump) at *******************, ***********, TX *****. The installation is for the home of my 91 year old mother who is hard-of-hearing. While the air conditioning works normally, the heating system has never worked properly since the date of installation. Furthermore, the installation failed to pass inspection with the City of ***********. Green Leaf attempted to correct the problems on 11-27-2021 and 2-3-2022. To insure that Green Leaf's attempted repairs corrected the problem with the heating system and were made according to code and in compliance with our signed contract, on 5-6-2022 I hired a 3rd party to HVAC contractor (*************************, Lic. #**********) to evaluate the system. ************************* reported that the heat pump did not have the correct kilowatt heat strips and the heat defrost board is partially burned. The initial wiring was incorrect causing the defrost board in the heat pump to partially burn. Following *************************'s report, I have contacted Green Leaf seven (7) times, requesting that they make the required corrections to their deficient installation. However Green Leaf has failed to take any action to correct these outstanding issues. Due to the lack of response from Green Leaf, the continuing breach of their contractual obligations under our signed contract, and their endangering the health and welfare of my 91 year old mother who occupies the house, I am requesting an investigation by the Better Business Bureau.
