We bought a stove from ****'s and bought the plan. The thermostat is bad. It's been replaced twice by the plan, repaired once and Samsung has repaired it once. It's not working again. The contract says the plan only had three chances to fix it and then I'm entitled to a gift card for the replacement of the stove. They're refusing to give me the gift card. We've spoken to about a dozen people and spent more than 10 hours on the phone in the last two days. They admit that the contract only gives them three chances, but they're demanding a fourth chance that they aren't entitled to under the terms of the contract. They keep saying it's their policy to keep sending technicians out and to not actually pay out. We told them that's in violation of the contract. I want a gift card for the full price of the stove plus tax, which I'm entitled to under the terms of the contract for the policy that I purchased. I'm including the email Samsung sent when they did their repair. ****'s repairs were July of 21, we waited 6 months for that repair, October of 21, that would took about 4 weeks from the time we called to the time it was usable, October of 22,where the tech turned down the thermostat and Samsung had to come and repair that repair. The stove catches things on fire because it's suddenly heat to 550 when it's set at 350, then the next time we try to use it, it only hearts to 200 when it's set at 350. The burners aren't hearing correctly either. The front ones heat too much and the back ones don't hear enough to boil a cup of water when left on high for 20 minutes.Business response
