I contracted ******************, All American Landscaping, LLC on 4/29/24. He was a referral from my realtor, *************. ***** is ****** nephew. ******************* business phone is **************. His email is ************************************************** My *********** met with *************** and outlined our landscaping needs. We needed 2 flower beds upgraded, 2 trees trimmed, landscape rock rearranged, dirt brought in to level yard & full backyard sod. He asked for cash of $8200. He said it would be done in 2 days. I paid 1/2 $4200 upfront. He started with the beds and put in only $350 dollars worth of plants. He left dead plants in the bed. He left a temp plastic flower pot in bed. We were not satisfied. **** had him redo the beds completely. Trace had dead sod delivered, not suitable for planting. **** had him reorder the sod. Trace didn't show up for over a week. He asked for $500 cash more than quote to pay the tree trimmer. When he returned to work, he asked to use my tools, wheelbarrow, ladder, trimmer, shovel.. Leaving them lay out in the mud. He said he had no money to buy tools. He asked me for the rest of the payment, $4200 to buy equipment, *********** I paid it in good faith, given he was recommended by my realtor, his uncle. That was a week ago. He has not shown back up. Today, 5/17/24 he told me to find someone else to finish the job. He has not refunded my money. I plan to file for theft of service. I have texted him, he will not answer the phone, asking him to refund me $3000 by this Sunday, 5/19 so I can try to find someone else to finish. My entire backyard was left in dirt. With rain, it's turned into massive mud pile. *************** has been extremely unprofessional. He did not finish the job. He's left me with a major problem. Further, I lost the sale of my house to a prospective buyer given *************** left it in a state of disrepair. I hired him when he promised 2 days it would be done. Now I can't show my house to buyers until I find someone to fix the mess.Business response

Hello ******, You have the wrong All American...We are All-American Lawn & Landscape, not Landscaping...my name is ********************* out of **********. I want to keep my perfect record with the BBB. We only service ********** and some of south ***** and ***************** a bit. Hope you get this settled with the other company!!Customer response

BBB: I have reviewed the business response and now realize the wrong business was contacted for this complaint. I dealt specifically with ******************. Trace's phone is **************. He identified his business to me as : All American Landscaping, LLC. I did not receive a business card as he said he was out. ************ page can be found here; ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************; He identifies his business as All American Landscaping a Veteran owned & operated and is striving to do TOP quality work! ***********. His TikTok account can be found here: *****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************; His home or business address is currently unknown. He did not provide a contract though I asked several times. He did not provide a receipt for the cash I paid $8900, even asking more than 5 times. ******
