      Installed two AC units in our new construction home. The return ducting on one is vastly undersized and whistles loudly from the air velocity. Now that summer has hit they are not cooling. As an engineer I checked on them and found them undercharged. L&S refused to even visit our home to check on them, much less actually charge them, 5 months into our 12 month warranty.

      Our builder used this company, so we called them when we had an ** problem. On Saturday, June 10, I called for an emergency visit. It cost ****** to have someone come out and check the unit, but since it wasnt working and we expected to have 100+ temperatures in the coming days, I willingly paid it. The young man came out and did some checking. He told it it was the board not allowing power to get to the unit consistently, so it would only run for short periods (10, 15, 20 seconds at a time.) He called his dispatcher and she said they would order the part on Monday and when it came in, they would call to set up the time to fix it. Probably on Tuesday. The young man was very nice. Wednesday morning, I called and spoke to someone who said, Oh, I see you had service. It looks like we need to order the part. I explained to him that they were supposed to order the part on Monday and that we needed to get our ** fixed. He told me he would call me back before the end of the day. At almost 4, I called again & spoke to someone else. I explained the situation to her and she apologized for the technician telling me that. When I explained that it was the dispatcher, she said that was a different story and said she would have the dispatcher call me that day. I never received a call. Thursday morning, I called L&S and was told all of the systems - computer, phone, etc were down and they would get back to me when they came back up. About 3, I called another company. The tech who checked the unit. It was not the board. L&S installed the drain line incorrectly & it started draining into the safety switch causing this problem. He provided a temporary fix and on Friday rebuilt the drain system. The ** works perfectly now. L&S called on Friday & said they had ordered the part and it should be in on Monday and they would be able to install it sometime next week. We told her we had another fix it, but the board was not the issue.

      Worst company I have encountered. I have been going back and forth for a month now regarding my ac in a 4 month old home not cooling. 4 different people have been sent to my home only to waste my time. When you call no one answers, and when someone finally answers, they treat you like your a just another peasant part of their unrealiable business. Haley, Ashley, Mandy, Leli, Crystal, Melinda, Leslie are the women there, treating their customers like trash. Please avoid doing any sort of business with them.

I want you to know that we appreciate your feedback. I see that you had an equipment failure on your outdoor HVAC unit and the compressor needed to be replaced recently and after experiencing cooling issues after replacement it was determined that the new compressor was DOA and you are on schedule to have it replaced 7/22/22. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do.

      Horrible service. Months for them to fix our ac. Still not resolved. Never answer phones. Many visits without fixing the issue. Dont ever do business with them

      Hello,

      We identified the address using the name and zip code that was provided as the review. We do apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused. Based on our records, the homebuilder submitted a request to connect the fresh air intake for the ac system at this residence on 6/2/22. We left a message at the # the builder provided and received a call back that same day by the homeowner to schedule an appt for 6/7 as well as a plumbing appt for 6/7. Plumbing item was resolved on 6/7 and based on our ac findings 6/7 there was some incomplete electrical work that prevented us from getting the freshair connected and running. There was a delay in getting a service set up, and on 6/17 both an electrician and hvac tech were scheduled back to the home to complete work 6/23/22. Our phone records show a single call from the number we have on file to our company. Our phones are answered live Mon-Fri 8-5pm. Based on our Service records only a single appointment for a plumber and hvac tech has been scheduled and performed on 6/7 and now the second appointment for an hvac and elec tech for 6/23. We dont see any reason the freshair install wont be completed on 6/23 as scheduled.
