I went to the Aces bar on Friday 2/11 for a friends after party post wedding. At the door I was greated with a table set-up and asked to take a COVID test in order to enter the building. I was fine taking the COVID test, but what I was not fine with was the fact that the employee doing the COVID test proceeded to collect a picture of my ID on his personal phone. In addition, I was asked to fill out a google form that stated they would charge my insurance for the COVID test. I asked what they were doing with my ID and they said it was going to the business owner. In addition, I was charged 10 dollars for entry to the facility. I was not able to present a vaccination card in order to enter and was told I would not even receive the results of my COVID test. I find this very violating and am questioning whether or not this is even legal as a business to do. I am now concerned my identity will be stolen as someone has a picture of my ID on their personal phone device.
