I had windows and doors installed two years ago... after installation, I notified Best Buy of a problem with mitered corners on several windows, and plastic plugs missing from windows and doors. They sent an installer by a couple of weeks later to look over my issues. He took pictures and said that they would be getting back with me, and he would have some plugs sent over. Two years later I got a call from Best Buy Windows, saying **** would like to stop by and take a look at my complaint. Two weeks later he arrived and he too took pictures of the mitered corners of windows, saying that this was a Mfg. issue and he was not sure what they would say... He did say he would get back with me and that he would send the plugs over. That was a month ago.I called today to let them know that NO ONE FOLLOWS UP and communicates.I would NEVER recommend a company that I can't trust! Best Buy Windows and Doors is a company you cannot trust!************************* ****************

I spoke with ***** today. I did apologize for not following up after our meeting. I did get the 3 frames and s**** cap covers ordered which we discussed. The frames have arrived and the s**** cap covers are supposed to be her Monday. He is on our schedule to install these things on Thursday May 2, 2024.Review from Kirk W

Windows are OK - but customer service is totally lacking. We had our windows installed a few years ago, and I had them professionally cleaned in January - turns out that 2 windows are 'cloudy' (likely a seal issue) and not dirty as I thought. When I spoke to Shelly on Jan 26th, she asked me to send pictures of the 2 windows, which I did the same day - and since then I have heard NOTHING back via email or phone. I have phoned back 4 times and keep getting told that they will come back to me if additional information is needed - I was even told this by the Warehouse Manager when he answered one of my calls. If you can't help me here, then thats fine but at least have the manners to tell me... So the windows seem OK, but if anything goes wrong or you need help - you may not hear much back for months (if at all)....Customer Response

Update - 05/05/2023. I was contacted by the company earlier this week - and provided an apology. The Operations Manager then came out the very next day, re-measured the windows and is now in the process of ordering replacement units.I appreciated how quickly this has now been dealt with - and as I mentioned in my original review, the windows and the install were good, but the follow up service was lacking and this appears to have been fixed - thank you for your help and support, ****!!Review from James H

I've been trying for weeks to get repairs on a vinyl siding project. Each time I reach someone I'm promised it will be taken care of. Nothing but promises!
