I signed a contract with Renew Home Exteriors on 11/10/2021 for siding replacement on my home. The work was completed 6/17/22 and final payment made that day. The contract contains a 5-year craftsmanship warranty. A piece of the siding is coming off the side of my house and I need to get it repaired. However, the Renew Home Exteriors website is not operating and the phone number on the contract ************ has an error message stating that the number is no longer in service, making it impossible to file the warranty claim. I need either repair to be done or to be compensated the value of the repairs. I also need the contact information for Renew Home Exteriors' insurance carrier in case Renew Home Exteriors does not intend to honor its contract.Initial Complaint

On 11/16/22 we signed contract for siding replacement on our home. A down payment of $8445 was submitted at the same time. In early December we were contacted by the company that they would not be able to do the job due to financial issues with the company. Initially they said they would send refund of $8445 plus an additional $100 for our inconvenience within 2 weeks. We never received the refund and contacted them again. They finally responded and said we would receive the money by the end of December. Still did not receive anything. One last contact with them in early January and they said a certified check would be mailed the next day. Gave it a week and nothing was received. At that time we turned the matter over to an attorney.Initial Complaint

I signed a contract and gave this company a deposit of $2850 in good faith for a custom front door 10/25/21, contract stipulated delivery of the door in 6-8 weeks. After 4 weeks they informed me they couldn’t find a vendor to make the door but were looking and would still be able to deliver the door in the original timeframe. At 6 weeks they told me they found a vendor but needed another 12 weeks to deliver the door. I requested to cancel the order and owner agreed to refund my deposit within a couple of days. 2 weeks later I asked for an update and was told it was processed. It has now been another 2 weeks (4 weeks after i canceled the order) and I still have not received my refund.Business response

After we processed the refund, and check was issued. Around the time customer file complaint with BBB, the check returned to our office. It had not been delivered by USPS. We contacted customer, received her Zelle info, and process her an immediately refund of $2850 into her Zelle account.
