    Due to family health issues, I've been away from home a few times last year. One of those times when I was gone, my toilet got clogged. Usually, I grab the plunger and within a few minutes, it is back in business. Well, with me away, there was no one at home with my ‘plunging expertise’- lol, and Crazy George got called. Apparently, “Crazy" was not available and sent someone else to take care of it. After attempting to put an auger down the toilet, he told my wife it wasn’t working and he had to go get other equipment and would return. He returned, and told my wife he had to pull the toilet. Since I used long bolts when the toilet was installed, the ends were a little rough where I cut them off to shorten them. So, instead of filing the rough thread down, he cut one of the nuts and bolts off. At this point, I found out what was going on, and had my wife send him away before wasting any more time on what should have been a 10 minute job. So, she gave him a check for $200 and said thank you. A few days later, I returned home at 10:48 pm, and with my superior plunging skills, I was able to clear the clog and clean the toilet by 11:00 pm (and I didn’t even wake the wife). Something a plumber couldn’t do after hours of work with professional tools. (By the way, my house is 2 years old, it's not like there are trees in the yard infiltrating my sewer pipes with roots, just a clogged toilet, pretty much the easiest money a plumber can make.) Needless to say, I wasn’t all that happy with spending $200, for less than nothing. I say less than nothing, because remember, I still have a cut off bolt where he was going to unnecessarily remove my toilet. So now I am going to have to pull it and replace the bolt. Okay, sorry, but that is not the end to the story. I was home a few days and found out I had to leave town again, but realized just before leaving that my toilet was leaking at the T adapter where the tank water supply meets the bidet attachment supply line. I took this project on at 2 am, hours before I had to catch a plane. Although it wasn’t leaking before the plumber came to “fix" my clog, this was my mistake. In trying to fix it before I left town, I discovered that I had damaged the rubber cone washer by overtightening it. Unfortunately, I didn't have a replacement washer available, so I left town, leaving the toilet shut off. Well, being one who likes to see the good in people, I decided to call Crazy George back and 1. Explain to him what had happened with the clog, and 2. See if he could come out and replace the rubber cone washer. I called on Monday (12/13) morning at 8:31 am and talked with “Crazy". I explained what had happened with the clog, to which he told me “that's not what [he] was told" by his guy. I didn't dwell on it, and as a matter of fact, told him the reason we called him was because of the nice things our neighbors had said about him online. And then I told him I had another simple problem that I needed help with and then explained my leak problem and being out of town again. He told me to text him a picture of the part I was talking about and he would get back to me. At 8:56 am, I sent a text message with a picture of the washers as well as my contact information, and the one hour that day that no one would be home. After not hearing back for a while, I called at 2:46 pm, but did not leave a voicemail, so I texted at 2:48 pm asking him “if/when" he could fix my leak. After no texts and no calls, Tuesday morning at 8:31 am, I called and left a voicemail asking him to call me. 9 days later I returned home and fixed it myself, never hearing back from Crazy George. Needless to say, I won't be calling or recommending “Crazy George".
